- Unsecured Order Pages – these types of order pages can put your financial information at risk. This is obviously a major problem. All secure order pages must start with https://. I’ve put screenshots below of order pages that start with http:// only, meaning that those order pages are unsecured.
- Non-Clickable Security Seals – this is a common sign of questionable sites. Instead of using a valid security seals which are clickable to a 3rd party verification site, the questionable website simply uses a copied image of the security seal logo, and makes it nonclickable. As you probably already know, nonclickable security seals are worthless.
- Free Phone Consultations – This is a BIG problem. These “free” phone consultations are simply ploys to hard sell you into thousands of dollars of products and services you don’t need or that are of questionable value.
Sites 1 Through 5 To Avoid – These Could Put Your Financial Information At Risk
Site 1: Online Jobs At Home – uses FAKE ClickBank order page which is unsecured
Not only is the Online Jobs At Home order page NOT secure – it is actually a FAKED version of a ClickBank order page as you can see below. The first image is the fake ClickBank order page. The second image is the real one.
The above web address starts with http:// – all secured order pages start with https://
Sites 2 & 3 – Both Versions Of “Free Money Cure” – use unsecured order page
Both versions of Free Money Cure use unsecured order pages as you can see below:
Sites 4 & 5 Extreme Income Online & My Big Money Anywhere – Unsecured Order Pages
Sites 6 – 14…
The Following Sites have two major problems…
- Non-Clickable Security Seals (which are worthless)
- “Free” consultation calls (used to high-pressure you to buy hundreds or thousands of dollars of coaching and/or products of questionable value.

I would like to know what You think about this site. Is it a scam or not?? Janet Rhodess Home Income Cash Machine Course? Do You know if Mary Stevens is a real person that used it and from Salamanca N.Y.? She talked to a woman named Amanda Winston a Consumer Trend Invesstigator/ Your Daily Finance person. Is it for real or scam?
Big scam. You can read the warning here:
Home Income Cash Machine review of red flags.
They actually ran under a different name previously until they had so many complaints they changed the name. They make her look like she’s in your area by using a GEOlocaction script on the webpage.
Thank You for checking the web site for me before I gave them money. I was trying to find info. but I wasnt sure about it. A BIG THANK YOU
AutoHomeIncomeDirect – I almost got scammed by these people, reported them to Scambook.com, but got reimbursed what I put into it–not because of Scambook.com, but because I just got lucky. It was a close call.
Glad you at least got your money back.
hello,
Today i have registered in AtHomeIncomeSource.com . I have submitted my bank account information . Now what do to ? I am so scare .I have just deleted the cookies in firefox . Please help me .
Naresh,
The good news is that isn’t one with an unsecured order page. The biggest thing to avoid on that one is anybody who tries to call you and hard-sell you on coaching or additional products.
Also, some of these company are relentless in calling you once they get your number.
If you want to get your money back and they don’t refund you within 2 business days, then you’ll need to file a dispute with your credit card company – dispute procedures are usually on the back of your billing statement. If you paid by debit card, you’ll need to talk to your bank.
Hi Paul thankyou for all you do. Can you tell me about http://WWW.earnheaps.com? I am in Australia and found out about this by a flyer on the ground. Is it genuine?
I haven’t figured out what the “product” is if there actually is one. But the sales page is very bizarre and definitely doesn’t pass the “smell” test.]
First of all, they have multiple testimonials from people about how much money they made – and the way they’ve done it is in direct violation of the FTC No Safe Harbor Guidelines for use of testimonials which state:
That could potentially concern anybody promoting the company as well, because the FTC also says:
“Sellers are responsible for claims they make about their products and services. Third parties – such as advertising agencies or website designers and catalog marketers – also may be liable for making or disseminating deceptive representations if they participate in the preparation or distribution of the advertising, or know about the deceptive claims.”
Bottom line. I would stay far away, even without knowing what they’re exact “product” is. If I find more, I’ll post it here.
I appreciate your staying on top of these bogus sites. The tips you list to indicate how to spot a possible BAD site are priceless. ERE
I got conned by these people they call you and tell you that they will set up the website fo you for $199 and that they will run it fo you all you have to do is check every week , for proof they fedex you a whole bunch of paperwork to make it look very real and even set up the website which is very professional, following which they say that your personal coach will contact you to followup with you , this again is a scam because they try to get you to buy into their one on one coaching and the moment they realise that you do not use a credit card they drop you like a hot potato ,in the beginning they promise you that you have a 7 day recission and a 90 day money back guarantee , I have since tried to get my money back but they dont even accept the calls. So I am stuck I reported them to the BBB I am waiting on them to help me with a resolve. Do you think BBB will be able to get me my money back
Susan,
Definitely report them to the BBB. However, I would also check with your bank to see what their fraud dispute procedure is for debit card charges. If you want to file complaints with Law Enforcement Agencies, you can use this list:
How To File Consumer Complaints.
I like that you have an ad for another questionable site
“If You’re Struggling To Make Money Online – Click Here To Watch This Free Video And FINALLY Get Answers To All Of Your Questions About Making Money Online”
On the earnheaps.com they have a professionally made video with people stating how much money they made. They are obviously actors but how can they make a video for it and get away with it?
Wow Peter, you’re quite the scam expert…NOT! The fact that you don’t unerstand how EarnHeaps.com is getting away with their scam says a ton about your expertise, actually.
Let’s compare notes about our individual expertise, shall we?
Let’s also look at what qualifies ME to make the distinction between what’s a scam and what’s not:
- I DIRECTLY helped the FTC take down one of the top 100 spammers in the world – the case is at FTC Vs. In Deep Services
- I provided the Secret Service documentation – at their request – on a complex, cross-border fraud case. Since the company has been shut down now, I’ve put up some of the documentation for you to see Enties Chart For Jess Willms’ Companies. You can see the results of that case FTC Vs. Jesse Willms
- The SBA did a Power User Spotlight on me here: Power User Spotlight: From Computer Programmer to Home-Business Scam Expert”
- I regularly provide documentation and speak daily to the Founder of Eagle Research Associate who works with several Assigned Federal Agents as well as several State AGs.
Here’s one of the cases I helped tons of people file complaints against – and get their money back from – never charging them anything:

So, Peter. That’s what qualifies ME to make these judgement about which programs are scams. What qualifies YOU to question my opinions? After all, you apparently must have missed the REAL red flags of those 14 programs on your own – or you’d have absolutely NO reason to be here.
Skipping The Scams…
I’m sure you know that I could make a small fortune promoting scams like Express Internet Academy if I wanted to – after all currently it’s paying it’s affiliates $95.00 per sale generated.
Guess why they pay their affiliates that much on a product that starts it’s pricing at $97.50 – then drops down $47.95 if you try to leave the page? Here’s why:
Because they know they can scam people out of the thousands of dollars on the back end.
You know how I know that? Because I’ve helped tons of people – without charging them a penny – try (not always successfully) to get their money back – and I’ve listened to the actual BOILER ROOM recordings of the scams going on.
Now on to the program on my Store Page…
First of all – the link takes you to a STORE page – where there is a 20 minute video – explaining everything that’s involved – that the program takes time – takes work – and clearly outlines the budget required. The entire program including incredible support via an incredible active community forum with paid moderators that check daily on unanswered questions + a support ticket system + phone callbacks…IF needed – costs a whopping ONE time $47.
Let’s compare that to the programs I’ve listed here – along with thousands of others I’ve warned about – which claim you can simply “make make money posting links” – and is a lead generation site for a boiler room that is going to try to hard-sell people out of thousands of dollars (the free “consultation” is a ploy to get you to speak to a hard-sell sales person).
Your turn, Peter
