Missy, you'r my kindof girl!! 2:37 AM! many nites I am ony pc. First read some of my responses about Melaleuca. I too didn't understand or grasp the concept. But I too am looking for a way to make money, not have to go to work everyday, never knowing when you might get fired or harassed by some work force bully, and also have the love in my heart to be happy when I can help other people fulfill their dreams whether it be financial or any dreams that they have.
Melaleuca is that kind of company. I am a rookie keep in mind, but I have just had a 92 dollar check deposited in my account, I think I have already spent it.....lol.... but all I had to do was invite like 3-? friends, people I have worked with, some family members. I think I had 4 people at my house....and the people who sponsored my husband and I came and did the presentation which is very interesting 2 friends actually bought their products that they wanted to try. I think one guy spent 199.00 and one spent 100 and something, can't remember. And the great part of this is I KNOW THEY ARE GOING TO LOVE EACH AND EVERY ITEM AND I KNOW THEY ARE GOING TO KEEP USING THEM. I AM! Anyway, just from that 2 hour fun event i received just Friday a check for 92.00. Sent directly to my account. Their product is shipped to them, I don't have to have a home inventory and ship it myself, spend lots of money to buy inventory....it's just almost to good to be true. But Missy...IT IS TRUE. I don't know where you live but I live in Texas and if I can help you w/ anything about WHAT YOU OUGHT TO GRAB ON TO AS FAST AS YOU CAN! Then please email me at estellene@sbcglobal.net or call me at 254 7212031. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Diane & Teresa, Hello and I liked your comments about the Melaleuca plan. If you only knew how great it is. First though we are not distributors. And also just to let you know, the money we make and I have only just started but my first week for just 3 hours was 92.00 dollars, yep,but if I do that every week that'll be almost 400.00 monthly! And I know none of us can live on 400 dollars a month...but you can make mega bucks and I kindof like that idea.I have worked since I was 17 and out of high school then found what I wanted to do and went to college at 40 years old...and then worked in my profession for the last 12-13 years. I really don't like getting up at 6 am...and I love to be at home w/ my husband and our dogs.
The most you ever are required to purchase monthly is like 50.00 at the most. And you're gonna spend a lot more than that on every day items from your local store! Shampoo, bath soap, deoderant, window cleaners stuff, lotions for your body, they even have a skin care line. ( I haven't tried that yet) They have hairspray dishwasher liquid, dishwashing liq. soap, vitamins, health food bars, all kinds of stuff and I believe most have the oil from the Melaleuca Tree in them, now don't quote me on that OK?
Anyway just wanted to share this with you and if you would like more info from someone who thought,,,,man I don't want to go listen to this stuff....please feel free to email me at estellene@sbcglobal.net. My name is Esty and I live in Central Texaa! Hope your day is wonderful!
PS hope I haven't spelled anything wrong....but I don't see a speel check!!!??

I am a brand new Melaleuca associate and I want people to know that if they are interested in making money, helping others improve their lives not only w/ the product but w/ the business opportunity, then you won't believe this Company. There are no products to purchase except for the items you buy for yourself. 300.00 MAXIMUM investment. As soon as you purchase some items you will be amazed at how wonderful they really are! My husband and I got our first box of Melaleuca and opened and tried everything and both of us kept saying, WOW I love this bath soap, I love this shampoo!! I love this fabric softner!! It smells so good ! ( And I am very picky about our clothes smelling good and never thought I would not use G---n fabric softner. They have many many products like laundry det. fabric softner, toothpaste, bath soap, skin care, lotions, health food products, vitamins, and many more....items that you USE daily. Melaleuca products are shipped directly to your house. You don't have to have an inventory. I am very excited about my future w/ this company....and by the way, I did get 2 phone calls from the CEO of Melaleuca congratulating us on becoming preferred customers. NOw thats cool!!!!!
I love Mary Kay and have been in it on and off again many times but this is the best company I have been blessed to be introduced to. If you just want to be a Melaleuca customer then thats all you have to be, if you want to share this great product w/ friends then you can. And you will recieve a check weekly deposited to your banking account. How cool is that!! If you would like more info please email me at estellene@sbcglobal.net and I will be glad to tell you more. Thanks for reading this, and Have a ...no....MAKE it a GREAT DAY! Esty in Texas :)

I am looking for advice on Melaluca's compensation plan. I attended a webcast, but I did not really grasp the concept. I understand there are different levels of where you can earn income, but how much--I am not sure. Can anyone help?

I would have to support the "Melaleuca IS a good business comments. We have been Melaleuca Marketing Representatives for about 15 years. When we treated it like a business, it worked like a business, when we treat it like a hobby, you get paid like a hobby (ie. not much!). On the flip side, we have been "Dormant" for about 3 years now due to family problems, but we continue to purchase about $150 of product per month, and continue to receive a $300 +/- check each month. A net income of $150, for purchasing items we would any way, just at some brick and mortar store. The compensation plan rewards your for work, not waiting for someone else doing something. If you are willing to do the work, you will be rewarded. But, just like any other job, some people are GREAT at it, some aren't. The people who aren't still can make money, it just takes a little more effort and willingness to listen to others on how to improve.

Just wanted to leave a comment about this post, I actually blogged about it last week here:

http://mlmbreakthrough.com/2007/melaleuca-business-is-it-a-legitimate-work-from-home-opportunity/

I’m of the opinion that the Melaleuca home business opportunity is great!

And I think the Melaleuca compensation plan is fair.

BUT, you have to treat it like a “business” if you expect to see any results. That means putting in your fair share of sweat equity, time, and money to build it.

Too many Melaleuca distributors expect to see life-changing results by only spending 6-8 hours a week building their business, chasing down people in their warm market, (making a names list, prospecting everyone they know) and not spending any money to advertise their business in a professional manner. Most of their money spent goes to monthly product fulfillment.

You don’t see the CEO’s of the fortune 500 companies running around treating their businesses this way, so you shouldn’t be either!

To make Melaleuca work, you have to treat it like a real business!

Just my two cents.

To the person that asked if Melaleuca was a good company. My husband and I just recently joined Melaleuca. We have been in Network Marketing and Direct Sales for years now. This is the first company that we have joined that can truely appeal to the masses. The cost to become a customer is truely awesome. It is very affordable and really has no risk. Outside of that the products are great and needed in every household in the world. The company is a very reputable company. You will make money in Melaleuca. Just like anything else you have to work it. Take a look at the entire company before you make a decision just because someone else didn't like the compensation plan. If you have any questions you can contact me at teamonemarketing@gmail.com
