Bootstrapping Your Business
If you are just starting out or are strapped for cash we've put together a low-cost, low-risk, self-funding plan for you to follow.
Step 1) requires just an initial investment of $47 to $97, have very low or no monthly costs and after those costs the rest becomes self-funding.
We recommend you find a low-cost, low-risk, self-funding systems to start with and use it to generate at least $300 cash that you can reinvest into buying one of the systems recommended in step 2 – note the systems in step 2 could be considered self-funding, but will require you to buy ongoing advertising which is why I recommend you accumulate at least $300 first.
Again, The systems in Step 1) require only an initial investment-time fee of between $47 to $97 and very low or no monthly costs.
So the idea is that you DO NOT spend any money in addition to the initial money you spend in step 1 until you've generated at least $300 from one of the systems in step 1.
And do not try to start with more than one system.
Step 1 includes the systems listed here:
Step 1)
a) Niche Blitzkrieg (available internationally)
Michael Brown created the Niche Blitzkrieg system to help newbies easily generate multiple streams of income in a systematic way. It's also now #1 in the list of top ten home-based businesses.
Niche Blitzkrieg is ranked #1 for these reasons:
- It's easy to build multiple streams of income fast.
- Your new income streams are for the most part "set and forget" type income streams
- It is a safe way to have several sites fast and easy and make great money.
- It is Completely Newbie-Friendly and assumes NO prior online marketing experience at all. There is a forum for each step of the system where you can ask questions. Michael answers the questions once a day
- Costs under $10/month to keep multiple streams of income going.
- You will be able to BUILD on the skills you learn to develop OTHER types of streams of income online.

b) MegaClassified Millions (Available Internationally)
MegaClassified Millions Beginner's Affiliate Marketing System.
This system is designed for a novice affiliate marketing person. In other words, it had to be right for someone who knows nothing about marketing online.
c) Kindle Profits Exposed (leverages the multi-billion dollar company Amazon.com)
Extremely simple system for generating passive cash, although it isn't likely you'd be able to generate nearly as much as you would with Nichje
Click here to read about Kindle Profits Exposed.
d) 5BucksADay System (available internationally)
http://www.workathometruth.com/5BucksaDay-mini-review.php
The main advantage here is that there are so many different methods offered to generate income for all experience levels.
Step 2) Pay per click training
Pay per click training is important for serious online entrepreneurs, because pay per click allows you to test things quickly. But I suggest you build up funds from step 1 first (at least $300).
a) Matthew Levenhagen's Campaign Blasts Method
http://www.workathometruth.com/Campaign-Blasts-Method-Review.php
But I do NOT think you should invest in Campaign Blasts until you have that money as you have to buy advertising, unless you already have online marketing experience and at least $200 to $300 you're willing to invest in your initial advertising.
b) Adwords Miracle
If you already have marketing experience and can build websites, you could also consider Adwords Miracle, although we still recommend Campaign Blasts over Adwords Miracle as we find Campaign Blasts to be much more systematic and organized.
The Adwords MIracle review is here:
http://www.workathometruth.com/Adwords-Miracle-review.php
The reasons we've included Campaign Blasts and Adwords Miracle in step 2 are:
a) They are both low-risk Pay Per Click systems that have the potential to help you earn significant income.
b) Learning Pay Per Click advertising will give you a HUGE edge when using any other type of advertising because you can collect accurate information about markets quickly.
c) They will both work internationally.
Step 3)
At this point you should have gained enough experience to be able to filter out most of the B.S. you are subjected to when it comes to business products.
When you've made it to this step, you can email us via the feedback forms found throughout the WorkAtHomeTruth site for suggestions or our opinion of businesses you are considering. However, we will confirm that you've done these steps – at least step 2, but hopefully both step 1 & step 2.

Wow i just want to say thanks, I have been in construction management for 20 years and was laid off because of the current state of things in our country. Its really all i know how to do. I have seen all the "guru" mastermind stuff, mass launches ect. I couldn't find anything on getting started. This really sounds like you deliver the goods for beginers like me. You give me hope! I have started a great book that i want to get out someday for men recovering from divorce that i hope will help alot of people. Like you guys i want the time to deliver the goods as well.

Although I haven't tried your "program", the number of grammatical and typographical errors on your "promotions page" put me right off.
6:20 pm
That's the important thing, Tea…not whether something works or not or is trying to give you a low-risk way of doing business…but if there's a typo or grammatical error.
This site has over 2000+ pages written mainly by ONE person each of between 300-500 words – plus I answer dozens of emails every day helping people out and discussions on the blog where sometimes there are as many as 500 posts that I have to go through as you can see In this discussion where I was helping people file complaints.
But you're right…a typo…oh no!!!! Horrors!!! It's the end of the world!

Hi, I am located in Canada and am interested in a) Niche Blitzkrieg (available internationally). I know it says available internationally, but I want to make sure that it isn't just the product available internationally, but also the ability to be paid by Google Adsense, etc. for doing the marketing.
Thanks for the tips!
8:37 pm
Hi Topi,
Yes, you'll be fine doing it from Canada.
I suppose there are a few countries that might have problems, like Nigeria as they tend to get blacklisted quite a bit, but in general you can do it from anywhere.
7:43 pm
Hi, I was wondering if there was a full review of the Niche Blitzkrieg program? I'm interested in moving off of a part time job while in school and working from home, but i'm a bit nervous about invsting time, money etc. But I am curious to try something new. I have already read the mini review.
Thanks, Patrina
7:46 pm
Another questions. I was wondering why they initial fee is so affordable if they keep claiming that it should be worth $1500?
7:49 pm
Also, I just did a google search about Niche Blitzkrieg, and some links came up about how it's another work at home scam. What should I think about that? And who do I believe?
7:53 pm
Sorry for the comments –I just want to disregard that last comment since all the reviews were good!
12:00 am
Hey, Patrina
I just remembered seeing your email via feedback and I must have forgotten to respond.
I don't have a formal full review up of Niche Blitzkrieg up yet, but I do have a lot of information that I can direct you to from questions I've been answering about the program.
Let me know if you want me to do that.
But I think there's another newer one that will be better suited for someone new to online business. I'll post that by start of next week. However, a beginner can certainly work their way through NB, it's just that there may be a steeper learning curve for some people when it comes to the basics of setting up a site – but there's a great forum for help there.
6:15 pm
I don't have my own website, but am very interested in generating some supplimental income. Waiting for your "But I think there's another newer one that will be better suited for someone new to online business" recommendation. How much time is estimated for a newbie to learn the basics, get started and generate income. (I'm a type-A, and when I have a goal, hit it pretty hard.)
4:29 am
Jane and all, here's the new product:
If you are looking for training in running an online
business Michael Brown has set up the first
14 videos of his AffiliateMoneyRevolution
system for free here:
http://www.affiliatemoneyrevolution.net/go/FreeTrial
No CC needed. Just name/email to get access to
the videos.
While a beginner can certainly tackle Niche Blitzkrieg, this new product provides a great deal more video instruction in a lot more of the basic steps of running an online business.
Once you're going through the free training videos and decide you want more you can upgrade for a one-time fee of $67.00 and get access to the forum. I've volunteered to help out in the forum, by the way.
====
Jane, for most of the products recommended here, I'd say 45-90 days to really master the basics. You'd probably be on the lower end of that.
It's hard to predict how fast you'll earn money. There was a guy recently who was completely new to online marketing who earned $225 his first month in Mega…BUT…
EVERY online business (or I suppose business in general) is about increasing your odds of having "winners" and cutting loose your losers.
For example I know Michael has at least one Niche Blitkrieg type blog that does around $1,000/month, but there are many others that might only bring in $50 to $100/month and of course there are the duds that bring in no money – it happens. Anyone who tells you EVERYTHING works ALL THE TYPE is B.S.ing you.
So with a system like Niche Blitzkrieg or Mega Classified Millions the MOST important step is the competitive research step to QUICKLY gauge how likely you are to succeed in:
10:31 am
Hi,
I Am from Egypt and I do not know if any of the previous
systems will work with me? and if it works is there a best choice?
for your information I am a beginner and I do not have a web site.
It is really hard for me to start my internet marketing as all of the systems, programs, and information about internet marketing are in English (which is not my native language), although I am quite good in English.
Nevertheless I read a lot about internet marketing (an average of 20 hour a week since a few months)
But the thing is I can not start yet.
So, do you recommend any thing special for my case helping me to start my internet marketing ?
And what are my chances?
3:00 am
Paul what do you think of the affiliate money revolution ?? Is it for real, I've been skeptical of these businesses so please fill me in
3:03 am
Hi Al,
I covered that in the March 14, 2009 post I made in this discussion.
7:06 pm
What do you think of sixfigureyearly? Also, in your opinion which is better? profit lance or blitzkrieg
7:38 pm
I don't recommend SixFigureYearly for the reasons I discuss here:
SixFigureYearly – not recommended.
I've not heard much bad about ProfitLance, but I haven't reviewed it directly. It's probably fine, but without reviewing the actual product I can't say much more than that.
I do talk about how to get a refund on it if you don't like it here:
ProfitLance discussed.

I want to earn money and received tons of these systems via email. I do not have any money to invest and on the verge of losing my home. I have written each of these programs explaining my problem. So I make a deal with them if their system makes me money, I will double their fee back if they send me system to try. Not ONE took my order so all systems are scrams and cons.
1:20 am
Chris,
Maybe you could do work for people for free and if they like your work they'll pay you?
Also, why don't you start with the free information at this site? There's 2000+ pages of free articles and a free forum here:
http://www.WorkAtHomeTruth.com/forum.
I have sites making money in various markets like piano lessons, dating, coffee. It sounds like you've been looking in the wrong places.
7:16 pm
Hi Paul, I just want to say first of all that I thank God for people like you who take interest in helping the less fortunate from these scam artist on the internet. I have lost money on some program before I new about yr website. I have two questions for you:#1: I have already invested in the Russ Dalbey's Cash Flow Business finding cash flow Notes. Do you have any input on this program? Is it really as easy as the advertisement states and can I really make an income with this without having to invest anymore money for training or to actually start making an income.
#2. What do you think of "Payday" its a program from Google where you pay either $39.00 or $1.98 if you choose to try for an advertisement that you must cancel before the 30 day time limit they give you in order to avoid paying the full $39.00.
11:56 pm
Hi Evelyn,
On #1: Russ Dalbey's program is outside my area of expertise. I'm working on bringing someone on who can help out with those types of programs, but it's been a few years since I started looking. One possible place to look is the Creonline.com forum dedicated to cash flow notes. I can't say if it's the best place to ask the question, but it's definitely a better place to ask it.
On #2. I'm not sure which Google Payday program you mean as there are a few around that – none of which I would recommend at this point.
You should know that the programs aren't from Google or Endorsed by Google, but merely use Google in their product name. Sometimes that can be fine, but with many of these new products, the name is being used to confuse the public into thinking the products are endorsed by Google.
Also, you should know that the $39.00 is most likely a $39.00/month fee – not a one time fee. Also, some of these companies make it very difficult to cancel. Without knowing which one you mean, I can't say if that's the case with the one you're mentioning, but it's alarmingly common right now for companies to make it very difficult for you to cancel.
If you know the exact title of the product, I can check it for you. One thing that's easy to do is to look in the Terms and Conditions to see if the country Cyprus is mentioned as that's currently a big red flag.
5:00 am
Paul:
I currently reside in Canada and would really like to start an online business (to help pay for school, grocery, etc). Unfortunately I am completely new to all this; on the upside I am very comfortable with coding, the internet, etc (I should, I major in Computer Science). Would you mind if I correspond with you via email for some help with all this?
7:32 am
Hi Kevin,
That's fine. You can use the Feedback form here.
Also, you might consider joining the WorkAtHomeTruth forum here as there are a few full-time online business owners that have started to hang out there along with other experienced business people.
4:05 pm
Hello Paul~
Steeper learning curve aside, would you recommend one program over the other, between Niche Blitzkrieg and MegaClassified Millions, in terms of quality and opportunity they offer?
I am just about to launch into this world (I really appreciate your website and advice, thank you!), am not afraid of steep learning curves (i'll put in the effort it takes to eventually get it) and have high hopes!
Thank you!
Elena
7:06 pm
Hi Elena,
Niche Blitzkrieg would be the one that would be best if you're not worried about a steeper learning curve. Michael continues to refine and update the course to make it even easier for beginners to get through.
Also, it has a really great support forum, which is almost unheard of for a product with a one-time fee.
12:07 am
Hi Paul, I appreciate all the info and your response to writers' comments. I am looking into your recommendations ie: Niche Blitzkrieg to begin with.
I am a stay-at-home mother and am strongly considering getting into this online business. Because – I HAVE TO. I want to generate a bit of extra cash and work hard to reach higher levels of earning. I am willing to learn but have lost trust in many as I have been victim of scams in the past. I also feel no matter what I do, i am missing that secret key that other marketeers have.
Do you truly guarantee success? I know that the amount earned will depend on the amount of work put into it even the amount invested, but is there truly light at the end of the tunnel for us beginners or will we dish out the investment and loose ourselves in the details.
Help – a mother who needs to generate income very soon…. out of need not greed…
12:15 am
Nope, I don't guarantee success. I leave that for the scam websites to do. That's not the real world – that's the fake world of "magic money falling from the sky".
I do guarantee that I review each product carefully and find the best products that are suited to the target demographics of this website which tend to be people new to running businesses and more specifically online businesses.
I also do make sure the companies I refer people to honor their refund policies.
One of the reason I've referred a lot of people to Niche Blitzkrieg is because for a ONE-TIME fee you get access to an excellent and helpful forum that focuses on ONE specific process – the process of researching a niche market, analyzing the competition quickly, and getting up sites and getting them ranked high in the search engines in order to generate income from site-advertising and affiliate product sales.
I do guarantee that you will get a tremendous amount of help from the forum members and Michael at Niche Blitzkrieg (he checks the forum daily for new questions) should you get stuck on anything and that you can get additional help if needed through the forum I've set up here:
http://www.workathometruth.com/forum/
I do guarantee that what most people need to focus on isn't "guaranteed success", but how to cut their losses (in terms of time or money) quickly and focus on their "winning" income producers – no matter HOW they're generating their income.
That's what I guarantee.
4:57 am
Hi!
I understand mastering the blitzkrieg system will have a 'steep learning curve' and take a few months before making income. I want to know what kind of time commitment is needed to make a modest earning.
I'm a full time student with a part-time job looking for supplementary income. Do you think someone like me has enough time to start the blitzkrieg?
Thank you!
10:28 pm
Hi Melody,
That's a tough question to answer, but what I would say is that you should have at least 10 to 15 hours per week where you can really focus on learning the system.
So part of that is going to depend on how tough your classes are and how physically or mentally exhausting your part-time job is.
As with any new skill it will be tough to learn the system efficiently unless you are fully alert while doing it…however, once you master it there are quite a few pieces you can do even if you aren't totally alert at the time as they are somewhat mundane or better yet can be automated (eventually).
Whatever you decide I suggest you do learn how to set up your own website/blog at some point just for the ability to stand out in your career field.
7:46 pm
Hello Michael
I just received my MCM and love it. I just can't seem to find Video 4. Could you please help??
Thanks so much!!!!
8:16 pm
Vickie,
Glad you're liking the course! I just sent you an email with the link. Looking forward to your reply.
-Michael
12:33 pm
I thought of buying Michael's product (Easy Shopping Ads Profits), but I would like to ask you if (Niche Blitzkrieg) covers the content of (Easy Shopping Ads Profits) or most of it as (Niche Blitzkrieg) is also about blogs and getting traffic to it.
5:50 pm
Hi Alaa,
Michael said he'd answered this by email, but in case you missed it for some reason here's what he said:
"Alaa,
You can no longer buy Easy Shopping Ads Profits because Shopping Ads is no longer a good service too use (sorry). So I pulled my product on that.
Niche Blitzkrieg is the way to go as it doesn't rely on any one program."
5:25 pm
Hello!
I am seriously considering purchasing Niche Blitzkrieg but am brand new to the business. I have a lot of motivation in getting involved, but am afraid that even though I feel likeI can learn the program quickly, I will not be making money back soon enough. Is this a legitimate concern? Also, is there a monthly fee that goes along with this line of business? thanks!
-Aunik
6:31 pm
Hi Aunuk,
I've copied an answer I gave in the forum to a similar question:
It's a good question and one I've been thinking about lately as I want to make it clearer that Niche Blitzkrieg should be considered a STARTING place and not the ultimate goal.
In my opinion the ultimate goal for most people should be to eventually:
A. Develop out a large authority site in a more competitive market.
OR
B. Develop out their own products to sell by themselves and/or through affiliates.
OR
C. Both "A." and "B."
The reason why Niche Blitzkrieg is a good place to start for most newbies is that it covers the basics of what you need to know to go into a very competitive market, but it is MUCH simpler.
For example, to determine the competition in a very competitive market there may be 20+ factors you need to consider whereas with something like Niche Blitzkrieg there are typically only a handful or so.
Once you understand the Niche Blitzkrieg process it's easier to move on to more competitive markets than if you just tried to go into a competitive market from the beginning.
As to how much money you'll make, the best I can give you there is to think in terms of "increasing your odds of success". One thing I try to hammer home is that it doesn't matter how good a process is, there will always be winners and losers, so the right mindset is to look for ways to increase your ODDS of success, which is something that Niche Blitzkrieg does through the way it has you do competitive analysis.
Of course the more experience you gain the more you learn from past mistakes and improve your odds of success.
So the best way to approach your question is with "what if" analysis.
Assume conservatively that a "winning" site will make $50/month. Sometimes you'll hit one that will make $1,000/month, but for these purposes I'd not even consider those and think conservatively and just base your calcuations on $50/month per WINNING site.
Then you need to play around with what percentage of sites are likely to be winners (i.e. get to the point where they're making $50/month).
i.e., if 4 out of 10 are winners
or if 6 out of 10 are winners.
The biggest lesson I learned early on was from Marlon Sanders – one of the early offline marketers to go online when he said that about 1 out of 7 of his product ideas would really take off. Also, even though I've never done trading in my life, reading books about how the successful traders think helped me with that mindset.
10:22 pm
I've just signed up with My Automated Home Business (BBP Marketing Online) at $15.00 dollars a month. Can you tell me if this company is legitamite or a scam? Thank you for all your help.
2:55 pm
Paul….Thanks for all you do for us newbies. I have been burned a couple of times and have learned from those mistakes.
I recently found one called dietbusinessinabox.com, by Monica Summers. It has all the claims which I believe says it's a scam. I did google it and did not find any real negatives. It' is about selling diet supplements online, etc. Wonder if you know about this one.
Thanks
Bo
5:55 pm
Just taking a look now, Bo.
One thing I noticed off the bat is that their BBB is non-clickable, which would be a violation for BBB members.
I also found one of the testimonial pictures on this site:
http://www.whitehousenannies.com/servicesNewborncontact.php
7:18 pm
This does not seem like an appropriate answer for a successful businessman. Very disappointing.
7:38 pm
KD,
Your comment seems to be out of context. What are you referring to?
8:25 pm
Hi Paul,
Can you please tell me if DishProfits.com is a legitimate site? I was looking for a job, and actually found it on CareerBuilders. They do claim to be proud members of the Chamber of Commerce, but do not show BBB or BIB on their site.
Thanks!!!
11:34 pm
Paul,
Again, thank you for for all you do, I checked out the test pic and I believe that it confirms this is a scam. Also, one point I did not metion in my first email is that in her sales letter, when she tells her story of rags to riches, l0l, she mentioned a mentor and gave his name as Greg (I think) then later she refers to him as Gary or vs verus. I checked her website before sending this email and guess what? She now metions him but no name, curioous, huh. She must have got caught and changed it.
Again Thank you for helping us newbies that are seeking legit online income oppurtunities.
Bo
6:10 am
Ha, interesting about the the changes.
Thanks for the update.
8:53 pm
