Are Telecommuters "Out of Control"?
If you are a telecommuter, prospective telecommuter, business owner, or prospective business owner I encourage you to pay attention to how Cali and Jody are "Shaking up the American workplace".
"Their message: there is a dramatic new and better way. People across the planet want better lives; employers want better results; the best talent will go to the visionary organizations that can see the light."
- From their site that I recommend you visit after watching the video (I put the link to their site below the video).
Oh, and if you're a business owner outside of America, you'll probably want to take a look at this too:
Visit Cali and Jody's site here at Caliandjody.com and be sure to check out their blog.
Results-driven business models have been talked about at length for years, but finally someone is proving it out. Great news for current and future work-at-homers!

can't wait, going to check it out!
This is a great testimonial video, thanks. I am a huge supporter of telecommuting, and I really believe that motivated managers and employees can recreate and better the working environment. We currently have the technology to streamline work and make telecommuting very easy. For example, I have been working for a free video-messaging service called ooVoo (http://www.oovoo.com) which helps employees based anywhere communicate better. It allows up to 6 person video conference calls so employees see each other and can brain storm, coupled with IMing, texting, video emails, and video posting as you have here, all combined into one easy to use platform. We always hear about the environmental and flexible benefits to telecommuting, so this is a super perspective, thanks.
As a committed lifestyle-over-workstyle business owner, I was really looking forward to the ROWE book. I hoped that it would help me to restructure my business as a Results-Only Work Environment for everyone that works at our office.
In the end, I was hugely disappointed. “Cali and Jody” have put their consulting careers ahead of the ROWE idea itself, and have handicapped its development by publishing a 10-page memo in a 200-page form. The tagline for the book is ““No Schedules, No Meetings — No Joke”, but due to the complete lack of detail, the tag line should be: “No Tips, No Detail — No Help.”
