In my opinion telecommuting is possible for professionals but it has to involve every employer AND Yes it can involve every Desk-worker !!!!
.
This means Team-Building, Training on the job, Trust and unofficial gossip to match ideas....all during Telecommuting
.
We can give this trough Full-time HQ Video and Audio for every team
Check it out at hr.telebeing in the Netherlands (nl)
or join the linkedin group: “teleworking”

Thanks Melanie. Hopefully this information will help other people in the same situation as well.

I think you mean "Angela Penbrook" not "Angela Pembroke".

I may be one of only a dozen or so people who ever actually got their money back from Angela Pembroke. It took about 3 months, and a lot of work, but what I did may help others. I kept track of all of my contact (and attempts to contact) this company, and all the responses (of lack of) from them. For me, this included e-mails (I saved both theirs, and mine), including one refund confirmataion which they never processed; and telephone calls (which included Two refund confirmations which were not processed); I had the date and time and general information of calls as well as emails. When nothing had been done, I sent them an email detailing what had been said and when, and let them know that I had enough documentation to prove my case should it be necessary to take further action (i.e., if I were to take it to small claims court). After that, I got my rebate. There is more than one number to call in on and I will try to get back soon and add the phone numbers I used.

This company is definitely dishonest. I personally would like to see this woman in jail.

I understand that people didn't learn to do internet research, but didn't they learn that you can't make $225/day filling out easy forms at home?

That's what I'm not quite getting. Obviously I don't want to blame the victims, but the whole thing just baffles me.

I have a page here that talks about how to get your money back based on how you paid:

<a href="http://www.squidoo.com/Lets-Talk-About-Rebate-Processor-Jobs" rel="nofollow">Lets Talk About Rebate Processor Jobs</a>.

Look for the section titled "How to Get Your Money Back".

Yes, I fell for this too. For those who are quick to despise us I would remind you that there are many of us (just about anyone in their 40's or over) who didn't learn about internet research growing up. Like many of my peers, I had no idea how easy it was to look into a company on the internet. I wouldn't know now if one of their own representatives told me not to use Google or Yahoo to get to their site. I wanted to know why, and now I know!

Like others before me, I also believed that the Truth in Advertising Act applied to All forms of advertising, and that someone who promised a refund was held to it by law. I guess that only works if you are prepared to hire an attorney.

For anyone else who is considering trying this I would note that I have made Three refund requests. To the first I recieved vague offers of assistance with the program (which never panned out); an email confirmation that my refund was being processed (it never was); and a confirmation number given over the phone for "resubmitting" the refund request (which has also not been honored). It does seem to me that there is a sufficient paper trail for some legitimate legal/criminal action to be taken against this company! (I saved all the information about contacts with this company from day 1). I care less about my own loss, (although I can ill afford it) than I do about the many other hardworking people who are desperate to find a second source of income to help them pay off their bills. It's disgusting that people too honest and hardworking to "go on the dole" are being preyed upon by the unethical.

Regarding the link to the "investigator" on ComplaintsBoard. I hesitated to include the link.

Here's why. PLEASE READ.

Worse than the actual scams themselves are victim recovery scams and the "help" offered by the alleged "investigator" on ComplaintsBoard has all the earmarks of a recovery scam.

You can read about how these types of scams work at the FTC here:

<a href="http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/tmarkg/recovery.shtm" rel="nofollow">Victim Recovery Scams</a>

Although they are talking about telemarketing scams there, the principles apply to any type of recovery.
