Using affiliate links on blogs

Q:

Hi Guys:

Great articles. I am presently embarking on blogging and article writing. Can you give me a few ideas on how I can have companies put their ads & posters on my blogs?

Also, I intend to promote some Affiliate companies and their products. How can I post their link pages in my articles / blogs?

As usual, thanks for your assistance and I look forward to a response at your earliest convenience.

A:

Companies typically will have an affiliate code you place and
you can find them in the company's affiliate resource
section.

That's for standalone affiliate programs.

There are also affiliate networks like Clickbank & HydraNetwork
which act more like brokers between companies and affiliates.
In that case the affiliate network will have the offers/products
listed in a database with a front end where you can grab affiliate
links for the various programs.

There's also Pay Per Post type opportunities, the pioneer being
http://www.PayPerPost.com itself. Many bloggers that blog
use a disclosure policy generated at http://www.disclosurepolicy.org

A good free resource for you would be http://www.problogger.net/
I can't remember if I've pointed you there before.

This was all started by the following email sent to the subscribers at WorkAtHomeTruth.com:

If you are a telecommuter or seeking telecommuting positions
you may or may not need to blog (if you don't know what blogging
is don't worry, you'll learn).

If you're a freelancer OR involved in any
sort of business…or are looking to start
a business…

…it's crystal clear now that anyone in the
following areas should seriously consider
blogging for clients, traffic, and of course
profits.

Business Owners:

Blogging really can be one of the easiest
ways to drive a lot of traffic to your
business.

Business Seekers:

Blogging can make a perfect stand-alone
business. Many full-time bloggers make
six figure incomes.

Freelancers:

And anybody who's serious about freelancing
can really set themselves apart from the
crowd of starving freelancers by starting
up a blog. It builds credibility and helps
to bring potential clients to you.

Blogging has become easier and more reliable:

Within the past couple years blogging has
become much easier and more reliable. There
are excellent "blog-in-a-kit" type systems
that are fairly easy to set up and that
truly do have "traffic-grabbing" modules
built right into them.

There's one particular "kit" that many of
the A-List (professional) bloggers recommend
for beginners.

We put it to the test to see exactly how easy
it was to use.
