Hi,

I also bought the EasyMemberPro package, and have tried to get support more than once. Never got a response back yet. I feel I have also lost my one hundred dollars as well. I since then have gotten Simple Member Pro, was able to make modifications, and am working with the programmer to release a special candiate version of the product. I also since then, created my own product, and it has so many features, and ease of sue for the website creation, that I put an article on the web about it, and I am a totally blind developer. You can see the article here:

http://www.gscsc.net/news/gscsc-inc.-membership-website-script-released-95.html

The script in demo format has not yet been placed on our website, but will be very soon. Any good script should be modifiable, non-encrypted, and should also have the features that people want, such as rebranding, a license manager, blog, forum, social bookmarking, social networking, helpdesk, and so forth. Our new script has all of this available, and it can even be resold as your own. You can call us at: (800) 922-5170.

I jsut got this thing and wished I had come here prior to buying this thing. This being a year later than all of these comments, still having the same issues. Supposedly unsder new management, but still no better. The script doesn't work. as was mentioned, the email side of it. Haven't even got to seeing how well it saves or tracks data. It doesn't disply correctly in ie 7 or 8 or the latest firefox browsers either. I was told by support after being told it was my fault or my web host fault that it was never tested for ie 7 or 8. Which means this software is still being sold to the consumer with known issues. And has not been updated or fixed in over 3 years. That probably means that the people selling this don't have a clue about this software, not the programmers, most likely just a rebrand and selling as their own. I'm still waiting for a response about their 60 day money back guarantee, but I have a feeling this is a hundred bucks I'm goimg to have to eat. WARNING TO ALL, DON"T GET SCAMMED BY THIS COMPANY!!!

I use Simple Member Pro. IT ROCKS. I tried other scripts. . . BUT they don't even come close to Simple Member Pro. It took me all of 10 minutes to install and I added content instantly. You will GET SCREWED IF YOU DO NOT USE SIMPLE MEMBER PRO. Just stop looking now, and go buy it. It's worth way more than the asking price.

Simple Member Pro Looks hard to use? Are you off your rocker? It's a breeze, I've used both. It's my favorite system for membership sites.

Installation took about 20 minutes and adding content was easy as well. Simple Member Pro is simple to use and works extremely well.

LOL. Well, I'll take that one with a grain of salt based on what I've seen so far.

And I've even had one person tell me that EasyMemberPro kept losing ALL of his data and when he wrote to support they kept trying to blame HIM - and this is an experienced marketer with numerous products and a large affiliate program.

I'd also have to say from my own experience with support from EasyBlogsPro I'm NOT impressed with this company at all. I have several emails sitting in my Inbox from the programmer AND the company explaining why the product wasn't working as claimed and then when I wrote to support about it they said, "nah, it's working fine"...ummm....then why did you stop selling it?

Here's what the person in charge of the programming for EasyBlogsPro told me at the time:

"I held a lot back when I sent the update today. I'm pretty put off by
isnare and article marketer. Bill with Phantom Writers has been doing a
good job and is hands on. I think as this type of service develops for
him, we'll see better performance.

But I'm convinced that the only way to provide the level of service
that's needed, is for me to create the article distribution sites
myself. Kim and I have been in the private label content business for a
long time and we know how to do it right. It's a mistake to try and run
the site as an all category service. Niche is the way to go...and the
extra effort required to run separate sites should be made up in less
overhead and bloat.

12 to 15 sites, that are targeted is what would be the best way. The
profit will be less because we'll have to pay people to help us
manage...but sometimes you have to do what's better business...than
what's better profit. We're going to do it...our programmer is making
me the script now. He's quick and I'll move forward with the health
based site right away. Health has lots of potential.

Thanks, and I'll be in touch."

You see, right after we bought the product it didn't work with some of the sites it claimed to work with.

But when I wrote to support because the product was to have a forum and was told:

"As James has left us and is no longer supporting the script, we have deleted the forum and disabled the payment button so it can no longer be purchased."

and when I inquired about a refund because the script wasn't really usable was told:

"of course it was usable, I use the isnare script on a load of blogs which are still going strong."

Well, looky here. I just pulled this RIGHT from the sales page for EasyBlogsPro that is STILL up (although thankfully they disabled the payment button):

"There are a few solutions available out there to the web publisher when choosing a service to receive your content from and after develoment, testing and evaluation, we decided to work with ArticleMarketer.com, Isnare.com and now thephantomwriters.com"

Umm. Wasn't there supposed to be more than ONE article site it worked with?

This type of support is too much of "blame the customer" for my taste.

I think it's important for you to know that my business partner and I develop sophisticated automated systems on our own, so this isn't a case where we don't know what we're doing here.

Hi

I've been using easymemberpro for about a year and I really like it. It does the job and its really easy to use. I'm surprised at the comments re their support, because I've always found it to be top notch.

I looked at simplememberpro, and it looked a bit complicated to be honest

I couldn't agree more with the last comment. It wasn't bad enough the script kept deleting my work even after I saved it.

But, when dealing with the help desk it literally took days for them to get back to me. To make things worse I had to answer the same questions 5 times or more.

If the script worked right it would be a major player in membership scripts arena. However, it doesn't work well at all and their tech support is poor.

Simple Member Pro seems to always do the job perfectly. Good article.

I bought EasyMemberPro but am very disappointed with their level of support. The email function does not work properly as the script sends out an error. After literally months of pleading for assistance, their response is that they are busy with EasySellerPro and will get round to my problem in a few months' time, maybe next year when they are not so busy. This is the tone of their customer support: "Of course the web host is going to blame the script because they don't know why it's not working and they are not programmers so they are hardly in a position to judge the coding."

The script has tremendous potential, but it has problems and I would not recommend this company.
