How to complain without saying anything at all…

2

Here's a weird email we got today. The person seemed to be violently angry but couldn't specificy exactly what they were angry about. Hey, maybe they just were angry.

Or maybe they found something seriously wrong with the site.

That's fine.

But it would be helpful if they could be more specific.

Here's how NOT to complain:
Q: I get VERY angry, and very annoyed with INVITAIONS that goes no-where……and you have several of
those on your webpage.

That tells me, you are quite willing to WASTE my precious time sending me on wild goose chases !!!
To me, your CREDIBILITY,INTEGRITY & RELIABILITY…is COMPLETELY, flawed !!!

My note: I really couldn't ascertain from this message what the person was talking about. So I wrote back to try to clarify:

A: Can you be more specific?

Are you talking about the disability section I put up
to help the disabled navigate the maze of free
programs? I know that's still tough. The one
here:

http://workathometruth.com/disability.php

Or maybe you're talking about the free list
of homeshoring companies found here:
http://workathometruth.com/work-at-home-phone-jobs.php

I was trying to explain how people could find more.

or maybe you're talking about that lady who talked
about how I helped her recover around $3,000
at no charge even though it took us a lot of
time.

I'm really not clear which section you're talking about.

Could you let me know? That would help and maybe
I could fix it.

thanks.

Paul

By the way, the ConsumerAction.gov site has good examples of how to complain in ways that are more likely to accomplish the end results you're looking for.

Update: So the person emails me back with a big R.E.M.O.V.E. image.

Now, what's the wrong with this picture? First of all, this person is NOT on any of our email lists and SECOND the person actually bordering on SPAMMING me through my email form now. Shouldn't THEY be the one's getting the R.E.M.O.V.E. request?

This person is also considerably less than literate. Perhaps they were "hired" by one of the questionable companies to bother you. What better way to harass someone than by having someone who can't think or express themselves clearly send meaningless complaints? Perhaps we should do this to some of the scammers!!
