MakeMoneyTakingSurveys.org Not Recommended?

There was a question about MakeMoneyTakingSurveys.org that got buried way down in the comments section of a page, so it's kind of hard to find. We also have the MakeMoneyTakingSurveys site on the "Not recommended list".

We explained the issues we have with this site.

The first problem is the big promise that is made at the MakeMoneyTakingSurveys.org site:

"Discover How to Make as Much Money as You Want, Just By Having an Internet Connection, Some Spare Time, and an Opinion!"

Not possible.

We next go over the example they give where they try to implant the idea of how much extra can be made using their paid survey database which seems pretty unrealistic based on what we know about legitimate market research companies.

Here's the claim:

"For instance, if you do four surveys a day, at $10 per survey, you can make $280 per week, $1120 a month, or $13,440 a year!"

The odds against this happening are astronomical. For instance, in order to be chosen for that amount of surveys that many times is extremely unlikely almost to the point of being nonsense (or maybe actually TO that point). Besides, even if somehow your were selected for that many survey opportunities and made it beyond the qualifying surveys and moved on to do the actual surveys, often you'll just get entered into a drawing for cash or prizes.

Here's another issue with MakeMoneyTakingSurveys.org. You can locate this kind of information completely free at places like KatiesHugs.com.

Finally, let's go through the testimonials at the MakeMoneyTakingSurveys site:

Testimonial #1:
"This has been a great opportunity for us to earn extra money in our spare time. The money we earned last month helped pay for our family vacation to the beach. Thanks for such a wonderful opportunity, we told all our friends and family about this and they have started taking surveys too."

Sarah & Joe Johnson"

Here are some other sites that have this EXACT same testimonial:

ConsumerJobs100 (.com)
Testimonial #1 from that site:
" *"This has been a great opportunity for us to earn extra money in our spare time. The money we earned last month helped pay for our family vacation to the beach. Thanks for such a wonderful opportunity, we told all our friends and family about this and they have started taking surveys too."

- Sarah & Joe Johnson"

Using DomainTools.com I was able to see that this site is registered to a DIFFERENT person than MakeMoneyTakingSurveys (.org)

WorkAtYourPC (.com)

""This has been a great opportunity for us to earn extra money in our spare time. The money we earned last month helped pay for our family vacation to the beach. Thanks for such a wonderful opportunity, we told all our friends and family about this and they have started taking working at home too."

Mindy & James Johnson"

What I love about this testimonial is that the PICTURE of the people are the same but the NAMES are different AND it's the exact same testimonial as used on MakeMoneyTakingSurveys (.org)

Oh, and the site is registered to a completely different person again.

So which site do these people who can't remember their own names REALLY like?

Umm…..um…..

Your article gave me a little chuckle. Seriously, who do they think they're fooling?! I'm glad that you are getting the information out there about legitimate work at home jobs. I've heard so many people mention surveys and have high hopes that they're going to earn enough money to pay their mortgage. When reality, they might be lucky to earn enough money for a candy bar.

I looked into the site as well. Although I did not join, for those of you that are interested but do not want to pay the 39.95 try this. Open the site and click the browser bar and type in your favorite search engine (example "google.com")and press enter. A box will pop up reducing the price to $17 if you hit the cancel button. Do this again and it will let you sign up for $7. Just FYI, I am not endorsing the site I just came across this.

TY, at $7 it's tempting to give it a try, just to see. The only problem is that you're giving credit card info to nefarious people.

At first, I thought this was one of those fake scam sites where the writer is secretly there to actually sell you on the product. I am happy to find out you're not. This site just saved me $40.00!

The pitch was pretty convincing, but I wanted to make sure so the first thing I did was search for "article on MakeMoneyTakingSurveys.org" and your link was at the top of the list. Thanks for putting things in perspective!

the funny thing about this is that I got this thru an email, from a affiliate company that I had canceled a subscription to…they then emailed me back to try this instead, what is it with these people, do the have a adsense campaign, that even when you figure them out, they get paid by just clicking into their phoney site?

blakegirl @ 5:50 pm

Ty, you are so right about the $7.00 deal. I can't imagine how many people gave away their $39.95 to these rip off people! This certainly saved me some money. I'm going to try this with other paid survey sites too.
Thanks
