There are many sites that offer this information for free such as KatiesHugs.com.

But even then – as you've found out – it's still hard to make money at. That's what at this site I suggested people not do them. But then I got feedback from people saying they were making SOME money doing them and thought I should include them – so I did.

I hear you on that. I think for those types of sites we probably need to go into more detail in the reviews.

The issue is more that most of them are about finding niche markets and developing an infrastructure for promoting them – and possibly some additional short-term promotional tactics.

The other problem that you bring up in an indirect way is the fact that a lot of the products are just rehashed information so if you don't know what you're getting a lot of the time you just end up with the same information you already have.

Some like Kindle Profits Exposed do a decent job of explaining up front what the system is – especially if you sign up for free to get more detailed information.

Another that I think is pretty clear is:

But you're right. There is a whole set of products that we are missing that are more focused on specific types of businesses.
