No-Monkey-Business revelation…

I recently did a very thorough review of Huey Lee's No-Monkey-Business site. And very quickly the review was the the highest ranked review of Huey Lee's No-Monkey-Business in Google Organic Search.

Sounds great, right?

Nope. Not really.

Why? Because I forgot my old lessons from years of PPC marketing. It has to do with the problem of multiple products, people, or places have the exact same name.

So, for example – even though when I looked at my rankings for No-Monkey-Business today and still held the top slot for the product I reviewed – called "no monkey business" (other than the product itself) – I did NOT hold anywhere near the top slot in Google for the the term "no monkey business".

Why? Because there are 6 other, different sites, articles or products named "no monkey business".

1. A "No Monkey Business" personal finance site at NoMonkeyBusiness.org.
2. A 1939 article from Time Magazine called No Monkey Business.
3. The actual website of Huey Lee's No Monkey Business.
4. A Voice of America Radio Broadcast Called "Monkey: No Monkey Business Here".
5. A fascinating study done at the University of California called "Generosity is No Monkey Business".
6. Yahoo Answers about No-Monkey-Business.
7. An Asia Times article declaring that State Exams are No Monkey Business.
