Hey,

I think you made a wise choice not buying. I work in advertising and study direct response sales letters like WILDSEO.

Basically, it is just a fantastic classic sales letter and I am studying it. It uses almost every text-book advertising technique. I will never buy it because at the end of the day it plays on two current beliefs: (1) the internet is a complex machine but also a new wild frontier for making money (2) there are ways to 'trick' this machine into spitting out money.

The reality is this. WildSEO probably has some good information but it will not do any of what it says. That's because it uses the oldest trick in the advertising tool-box: make gratification instantaneous. Anytime you see a sales letter promising that it can take you from A (broke, alone, and confused) to B (successful, sexy, and fully assured) it isn't a scam. It is just a perversion and distortion of the truth. Don't buy it. But learn from it.

[...] Now, it would be idiotic to discount the claims of WildSEO just because I don’t like their example site - but it does give me a nice opportunity to rant about Doubling Stocks. LOL (don’… Read more… [...]
