EarnCashFastWithGoogle Complaints

I’ve been tracking down numerous seemingly fake websites that are promoting various products that are generating a huge number of complaints.

One of the products many of those sites are promoting is a product called EarnFastCashWithGoogle. So let’s take a look at why EarnCashFastWithGoogle is generating so many complaints.

3/28/2009 update: This is NOT an endorsement or NON-endorsement of EarnCashFastWithGoogle, but I still cannot understand how people can miss the information disclosing monthly charges on their sites disclosing the terms of their offer. When I checked it was on ALL of the following sites that are used to promote this offer:

  • GoogleProfitTree – The version I looked at showed the monthly charges in a big blue box at the bottom of the page BEFORE the first step of the order form.
  • MakeCashFastWithGoogle – The version I looked at had “Risk-Free Trial Information” in bolded green letters DIRECTLY to the left of where you enter your credit card information. The monthly charges were spelled out there.

3/3/2009 Update: It is still baffling to me how people are missing the disclosures on the EarnCashFastWithGoogle site. This is NOT an endorsement of the product, but from what I’ve seen EarnCashFastWithGoogle’s method of disclosure has to be one of the most consumer-friendly one that I’ve seen. I have to agree with what they’ve now detailed in their advertising policy link which you can read here.

However, I don’t like the fact that you have to take ALL 3 services instead of being able to select – buffet-style.

I did just notice a separate issue: The second page of the EarnCashFastWithGoogle site is displaying the HackerSafe logo on the order page. The two issues with displaying the HackerSafe logo are:

  1. HackerSafe was bought out by McAfee and ultimately changed the HackerSafe logo to McAfee Secure.  Click here to read about the HackerSafe change to McAfee Secure, which be reading the comments looks like was done AUTOMATICALLY.
  2. A security seal like HackerSafe (now McAfee Secure) is supposed to be clickable so that you can verify the last time the site was scanned on a trusted 3rd-party site.

FIRST – I want to be clear that we have NEVER recommended the EarnCashFastWithGoogle product and based on what I’ve seen based on the sales page alone it would NEVER a chance of getting anywhere near our Top 10 Recommended Home Businesses list.

I just saw a lot of complaints about their “Earn Google Cash” type product and wondered what they were about.

2/4/2009 Update: While the sales page certainly has some strange things about it that I discuss below, one thing I can’t understand is how people don’t know they’ll be charged monthy after the trial period. On the page I looked at there was a gigantic blue box describing the terms of the offer – DIRECTLY above where you start entering your information. Is there a different sales page that I don’t know about?

Strange wording and bad grammar is available for “all who qualify”!

O.K. On page 1 I see that I “may qualify” for one of their free kits. I’d like to know who DOESN’T qualify for one of EarnCashFastWithGoogle’s free kits.

Also, the following sentence doesn’t even make sense in the context of the page:

“Google has earned people millions of dollars, time for you to get your share! See if you qualify for our free kit and start today!”

I can’t imagine what “Google earning people millions of dollars” has to do with EarnCashFastWithGoogle. While PEOPLE might be able to earn money by learning to use Google Adwords through a legitimate system like Matt Levenhagen’s CampaignBlast’s Training…The company GOOGLE isn’t earning ANYONE millions of dollars except maybe some of their employees and shareholders. :-(

To “Qualify” for My “Free Kit” I just have to “Order Now”. Huh?

Now, I know this is typically “marketing-speak” but it just seems alarmingly bizarre in the context of the previous claim that “I may qualify for one of their free kits”. So in order to qualify for my “Free Kit” I guess I just have to PAY.

You might also qualify if you habitually use poor grammar!

On the first page of the EarnCashFastWithGoogle.com offer I noticed this disclaimer by a testimonial from Kelly T. (Maybe he’s related to “Mr. T”?):

“*Results not typical.
Individuals has been remunerated.”

Well, at least they did put a dislcaimer, even if it’s grammatically incorrect.

“Important Notice” from EarnCashFastWithGoogle Limiting the Number of “Hand-Held” Experiences Available! Whaaat?

According to the “Giant Red Box”:

“Unfortunately, we cannot offer this to everyone. I am really sorry about this, but the offer is extremely limited!”

Hmm. I wonder if it’s only limited to people who ORDER? ;-) I guess those are the people who get the “excellent hand-held experience” mentioned in the “Giant Red Box”:

The Earn Google Cash system ensures that you will have an excellent hand-held experience”

I’m embarrassed to admit it, but I’ve actually been spending a significant amount of time trying to figure out what a “hand-held experience” could possibly be. Also, I hope I don’t drop it. ;-)

A REAL Two-for-One Deal: TWO baffling sentences on ONE page!

OK. On the SAME page I see these two sentences:

Sentence 1:See, even though we are releasing this for FREE initially, we are only giving away an undisclosed number of 14-day trial packages.” I wonder if the “undisclosed number is related to Graham’s Number?

Sentence 2: “Why Am I Giving Away This Earn Google Cash System For Free?”

Now Sentence 1 makes it seem like EarnCashFastWithGoogle will EITHER be free OR it will be a “14-day trial package”. And then Sentence 2 makes it seem like CURRENTLY the EarnCashFastWithGoogle system is free.

Let’s see if the EarnCashFastWithGoogle system is really free (don’t hold your breath)…

Amazingly, EarnCashFastWithGoogle actually puts the offer details right on the front page in a big blue box, although the print is pretty small. Even though I’m not at all impressed by their bizarre sales page, EarnCashFastwithGoogle’s disclosure of the trial conditions on the main page is WAY better than what most similar products do (other similar productst tend to link to the Terms & Conditions where you have to hunt down information about the additional fees).

So let’s see what the additional charges are:

  • $1.00 refundable processing fee
  • After your 7-day FREE trial period it’s $29.95 per month (automatically charged monthly at the end of the trial period).
  • A FREE fourteen-day trial and twenty one-day trial to the Fraud Protection Resource Center and Identity Theft Protection for just $4.95 and $9.95 a month thereafter (shows as “FraudProtection” and “IdentitySecurity”) should you choose not to cancel.

OK. So even though they initially presented a lot of baffling information at the beginning regarding whether their system was free or a 14-day trial, now they’re at least putting the offer details directly on the main page…although NOW it’s a 7-day FREE trial (I’m not sure what happened to the EarnCashFastWithGoogle free 14-day trial mentioned previously). Also, what if I already have fraud protection and don’t want theirs?

Although based on this page alone there’s ZERO CHANCE I would ever recommend this “Earn Cash Fast with Google” product to anyone, except maybe one of my competitors. ;-)

For example the product I recommend on the site for learning to make money with Google Adwords is Matt Levenhagen’s Campaign Blasts Method and here’s the remarkable thing about Matt’s sales page: it actually makes sense ALL the way through – unlike EarnCashFastWithGoogle.com’s sales page which seems to be a mix of nonsensical phrasing, contradictory statements, followed FINALLY by the REAL terms of the offer (at least they did get THAT part right).

OK. If for some strange reason I did actually get this product, how would I cancel or make a refund?

  • For EarnCashFastWithGoogle it says: “you can chat with live operator by calling (866)341-7163 within the first 7 days to cancel, and you will not be charged.”
  • During the PAID membership of EarnCashFastWithGoogle it says: “If for any reason you are dissatisfied, chat with a live operator, and you’ll no longer be charged.” OK.
  • OK. For the “Fraud Protection Resource Center” it says: “You have also unlocked a FREE fourteen-day trial and twenty one-day trial to the Fraud Protection Resource Center and Identity Theft Protection for just $4.95 and $9.95 a month thereafter (shows as “FraudProtection” and “IdentitySecurity”) should you choose not to cancel. Prior charges for bonus are non-refundable but subscription can be cancelled and future charges stopped at any time by calling toll-free 1-800-712-7226 and 1-866-342-2994.”

Fine, but I still want to know how EASY it is to REALLY get the services canceled.

Now I’m going to have to rely on feedback from other people on that because I have ZERO INTEREST in even reviewing this EarnCashFastWithGoogle offer based on what I’ve seen so far.

So if anyone wants to let other people know their experiences with canceling the EarnCashFastWithGoogle offer, let them know here.

Update: 2/1/2009: So far it seems that customer service handling EarnCashFastWithGoogle has been very helpful and prompt.

Also, if you initially signed up through a page other than the “EarnCashFastWithGoogle.com” page, I’d be interested in knowing what that page was.

Form on First page:

First Name :
Current Marital Status :
Annual Household Income :
Time At Current Residence :
Employment Status :
Year Born:

Note: I’ll be finishing the rest of this page later, but I’m going to go ahead and publish it to see what kind of experience people have had canceling and/or refunding EarnCashFastWithGoogle and how hard or easy it is to cancel and/or refund.

Note: Now there are some sites that seem to call this The Google Easy Cash System.

    HI Paul

Unfortunately i am really embarrassed to admit that i have been one of the unlucky ones who have been scammed. Obviously reading late at night has not made my judgement clear. My main concern is that i don’t know how to cancel. I have tried the numbers on your screen but as i live in australia, they obviously don’t work and there are no other contact details. Also, the last page of their website that i had saved (with all the details) is no longer active – obviously to make cancelling difficult/impossible. I have just checked my banking today, so other than canelling my visa card, I don’t know what to do. Any suggestions?

    Thanks NIkki

  2. Nikki,

Here’s an article about dialing U.S. toll-free numbers from abroad, however, it doesn’t seem to match up with how some Australians said they got through to a toll-free number on a similar product.

If you check this discussion about a similar product, the people from Australia said they dialed 0011 ahead of the toll-free numbers:

    Google Success Kit Complaints.

I can’t say this with 100% certainty, but based on what the Australians mentioned there it looks like you would need to dial:

    0011-1-866-341-7163 for the EarnCashFastWithGoogle product.

    and either:
    0011-1-800-712-7226 or
    0011-1-866-342-2994

For the identity theft/fraud protection service.

    HI Paul

Another thing that this site has scammed me and i presume others on, is that they promise to send me a “google success kit” for just “$1″. Well it’s been 4 weeks and i’m still waiting.

  5. Im imbarressed to say that i fell for this crap too… working a 12 hour shift then being given the awnser to all your money troubles will do that to a guy. Anyways i felt like an idiot the second after i had signed up. Im from Australia and tried the numbers listed on there site but couldnt get through. I also sent a stronly worded reply email straight back to the order confirmation email u get from them after u sign up. Anyways i finnally found ur site and this number seems to get you through 0011-1-866-341-7163 however i was put on hold and told to ring back later. At this point i was on the verge of cancelling my debit card however luckily i just checked my email again before going to bed and guess what i found.

Iv had a miserable afternoon thanks to all this but im so happy its over. I never fall for this shit but i guess anyone can be suckered. I hope this helps some people.

  6. let me join the evergrowing list. Foolishly, I too subscribed to this risky business which I somehow stumbled upon from a webpage headed ‘Jason gets Green’ (link attached if this is allowed http://www.grantsreviews.org/make-money/). I suppose It was late at night and did not notice all the grammatical errors. The alarm bells only sounded this evening when I I re-checked the link on ‘Jason gets Green’ and I was re-directed to a site called ‘webfetti’. It was then that I googled Google Cash and found WORK AT HOME TRUTH. Thanks everyone for your comments. Fortunately I have only lost $1 but had to cancel my visa card to be safe.

  8. Hi All, I am from Australia and I just quickly want to say that anyone wishing to cancel their membership with EarnCashFastWithGoogle.com, you don’t need to ring them and waste money that way… I simply (not knowing at the time if I’d get a response)emailed them on — [email protected] — and made sure to ask specifically to cancel my membership & Fraud and Theft protection also. I received a reply email with a cancellation number as listed like Matt mentioned above on 2/2/09. I will double check my bank account closely over this coming month to make sure that this is true. Thank you all for your comments, as this complaints website proves to be a big help in helping others realize they too aren’t alone in these situations. Hope you all have a better week NOW :)

  9. Nathan, Australia says:

    G’day,

I have just rung the following numbers and talked to operators at each to cancel my ‘free’ trials (within the trial period). Calling from Australia, the numbers are:
    0011 1 866 341 0767 to cancel Earn Cash with Google.
    0011 1 866 387 2521 to cancel FraudProtection.
    0011 1 866 342 2994 to cancel IdentityTheft.
You need to call between 12:01 am and 1:00pm AEST to get the call centre.
I also sent an email to [email protected] (no response yet, but it has only been a day).
Now I need to watch my account to ensure nothing is taken out, and if it is, then I need to put a hold on my card and get a new one issued. Hopefully this is the end of this.

  10. Chantelle says:

Anyone who got taken in by the Earn cash fast with google kits thing… I called 1-866-341-0767. I asked them to cancell my service with them. They asked for my first and last name. then told me that it would be cancelled and within two weeks I would be refunded. I had to request a confirmation number. That was Yesterday. Today I checked my Credit Card and had been issued a refund for the $29.95 US

  11. I too, was in the same boat but I canceled my debit card immidiately a few minutes after I bought the so called product. Good thing I acted fast and only lost $1 as well. plus a download those books i might get something after all.

  12. Hi unfortunately i signed up too b4 reading into it and now want to cancell .did you get the nubers to cancell and were you successful? So mad at myself for not checking prior to signing

  13. Hi Matt,

Did you get your refund? I too got scammed and I am from Australia. I cannot call as I am deaf but have sent an email according your comment, just wondering if you got your money back.

  14. Found this site by following a link from an ad on Facebook that took me here: http://www.marysmoneyblog.com/index.php?t202id=7465&t202kw=bwom5155

The page that come up to order the “kit” had very little info.

  15. I had the same experience.

  16. How disgusting is this trick.

To cancel, I went to this site:
    http://www.earncashfastwithgoogle.com/contact.html and
called this number (888)541-0915 from the UK.

Managed to cancel the account and get a refund – will have to check in 10 days to see if it actually happens.

‘Nice’ American lady tried to convince me that i wasn’t supposed to receive anything in the post – i told to stop lying and she backed off!

Good luck to the rest of you – i’ll post back once i get a refund.

  17. I’m glad I’m not the only sucker who subscribed after qualifying for the “free” kit. I too will call the numbers to cancel. The majority of us like to read these scam websites after midnight (like Nikki) and can’t see beyond the potential financial incentives. Luckily I’m not in financial ruin due to this.

Who knows, I might employ “Doug” to create an anti-googlecash-scam site. I can see the humour in myself falling victim to this/these scam(s) but wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.

I hope this page supersedes the other scam pages in search engines when typing “google cash scam”.

I’m in Australia and found the ad on facebook.com
The wording on the site at the time mentioned the economic downturn. I too am someone who doesn’t like spam emails, slams doors on sales reps, changes the channel when late-night TV ads come on, wary of any charity workers and hates the price of petrol (gas).
I hope the government authorities, legal representatives of Google.com and the input of the aforementioned victims help create measures to prevent companies like these from scamming future web users. It is my belief that financial penalties or gaol time would be a good start.

I urge those who have bought their elderly parents an internet connection and computer to verify that they’re not subscribing.
Target audience marketing works, obviously. I never will Text/SMS a subscription service seen on a TV ad for pictures, videos, ringtones, jokes or other information. I now wonder how my mind would work as well if I saw a service offering an SMS subscription that could make me millions of dollars.

Thanks John and thanks to those that have commented.

  18. I’ve seen so many variations of this scam advertised on Facebook over the past few weeks… I admit it got me curious, but I remained sceptical, and noticed some of the sites were looking a little bit too similar…

I’m glad I found your site though! Now you’ve confirmed for me once and for all that I should STAY AWAY from this offer.

Do you think there’s a way to stop the ads being displayed on Facebook…? I think they’re very misleading, and given the current state of peoples’ finances around the world, very enticing. It shouldn’t be allowed.

  19. In response to Margie, I was thinking the same. Facebook is receiving funds from this advertising. It is misleading as I fell for it. Fortunately I was able to email and get a refund. I’d say, never ever again will I do something like this again, I guess it was a desperate measure.

  20. I am freaking out right now!! we don’t even know how to set up a website in order to get this thing started! That’s how non-computer savy we are:) I read sooooo many complaints not only here but elsewhere stating there were class action lawsuits even being filed for all of this for the people who actually are “in” already and have posted all their ads for google and have never been compensated. I lost the 800# but thank God I found your site here and I just tried calling it…unfortunately they’re not there until 8am MST…we’ll see… I will destroy my debit card and get another if I have to in order for them NOT to get my $$ every month!! They’ve obviously STOLEN enough for everyone! I’ll keep you posted.

  21. Barbara says:

Thank you for your heads up on earngooglecash.com. I was checking out googlemoneyprofit.com turn out they are one of the same website. Now they are using different name. So buyer be aware.

  22. Barbara says:

One more comment after my last one.
I was trying to check out all work at home scams online. I found this website:avoidwebscam.org. This site recommend 3 website for work at home business claim, they investigate the top three sites. One of them is googlemoneyprofi.com. The investigator sign up with googlemoneyprofit.com make $400.00 in one day, give himself a raise because the investigation.

What I think is avoidwebscam.org is doing the advertise for earngooglecash.com and googlemoneyprofit.com. You can not trust anybody.

  23. Thanks for posting, Barbara.

    I wrote about AvoidWebScams.org here on February 21, 2009

  24. berni a says:

Hi re this scam ,I did get a reply back to say that my membership had been cancelled that very day( 8th Feb) but guess what ,I’ve just received my credit card statement today(6th March) and those thieves have not only taken money out on the 9th feb but also on 14th feb,24th feb,25th feb, 26th feb, 1st march and 4th march to the total of $50.86 au

  25. Sea13reeze says:

Managed to get the $29.95 (GBP 21 and some) refund from the google success kit, however, a further GBP 12 and some was taken from my account in the form of the following:

    Fraud Protection & Identity Security!!

So i called my credit card company and asked then to cancel my card and send me a new one after explaining what had happened. I was put through to the fraud dept and told that even if i was to get a new card, they would still be able to take money as what these ‘google fraudsters’ had set up on my account was almost like a direct debit!

So they told me to call the two ‘companies’, cancel the accounts for both making sure i got a cancellation number for both, then call them back with the details which they would add to my account and get the money back for me if nothing was refunded in approx 10 days.

For FRAUD PROTECTION I called: 866 387 2521 at 2pm GMT and got through, cancelled my account and got a refund and cancellation number.

For IDENTITY SECURITY I called 866 351 8557 at just after 2pm GMT, got through and cancelled my account and also managed to get a refund and cancellation number.

I’ll post back when i receive the other refunds – good luck with getting your refunds.

  26. berni a says:

Hi I got exactly the same reply from them but guess what i checked my credit card statement today and they have taken nearly $51 au out and that was on several occasions after the letter so check your statement. Hope you have better luck that i have had.

  27. Well Unfortananly I bout it. But after seeing all the comments you put forth on here tonight. I will be calling today and doing a big fat cancel on the EarnCashFastWithGoogle. Because everytime i would go to do a down load of the ebook my adobe reader told me there was a problem and would not reveal the Ebook to me. So i am to beleive they are a fraud out there praying on the Google name and that is not a good thing. Thank you for putting your opinion out here for people like me to read and make a decission. I will comeback and let you know how the refund thing works out.

  28. how to contact with them? the number is out of service..
any email or phone number can contact them?

  29. here’s there email,[email protected] Make sure you cancel the fraud protection aswell, good luck

  30. I signed up with this site
    http://unitedkingdom.tomssuccessstory.com/?p=1
    and it’s a total scam.

Only a 50% refund, still chasing the other half. I’ve had to TRAWL the internet to find a contact number for these people as they used three different business names on the same page.

Don’t fall for it! You’ll be $60.00 worse off!

  31. http://www.complaintsboard.com/bycompany/google-success-kit-a91170.html

try this site too, this was pretty helpful. remember to put the prefix 01 before the phone number if you’re dialling from the UK.

    good luck!

  32. First they charge you for shipping. Then they say there is no shipping and they give you a “link” that sends you to a website that has nothing but complaints.
I will add to these complaints

  33. Dave Swan says:

The actual offer from “EarnFastCashWithGoogle” as I read it on Feb28/09 was to risk $1 to be able to see their material. I did so, looked at it and 10 minutes later called the customer service phone no. to cancel.

It’s worse: According to them I automatically agreed to apply for 2 other services: 1) Fraud Protection, 2) Identity Security. However, DO NOT RECALL CLICKING AN “I AGREE”. I only began to investigate when I found a number of unauthorized charges on my credit card, beginning 3 weeks later. I phoned all the numbers, by myself, and subsequently by conference call with a representative of the credit card company, to ensure that all accounts are closed.

Apparently within their agreement, all previous charges are NON-REFUNDABLE, and so effectively, when I agreed to $1 I was actually committing to pay $19.90 USD, and more each month thereafter, if I hadn’t caught and acted on it today, March 26

  34. Anonymous says:

I mean yes I was fooled by them, and after I’ve read this page, I understand now cleatly that it is a fraud, the free google kit, earnfastwhitgoogle etc. I have purchased the free google kit, like a fool cause when I read here some line when it say (we can not provide you all with the free kit, Iam am sorry) just this sentence make no sense, we can’t and I am sorry it is two person speaking, but there is just one person there making the site, and he or she, is common with that kind of fraudukous site creating cause it’s done fast in my eyes.

How I have cancel it, we can’t… The only ways to not get chaqrge is by contacting your credit card company and explain the all story about your experiance with the fraudulous site and account. Therefor you will surely be asked to fax the prof of the site, the cancellation process, if you call their service take the name of the person who you’ll be talking and all the information you can on paper, send all and most information as possible like phone numbers of the fraud company. You credit company will cancel your card and resend you a new one with a new code. If it is like that, we must do something like a website where all complain against fraudulous internet company and all their information as possible, and about there the autority can work on that info. All this mony that we give to these poeple is not taxed or wathever it don’t go in our country for shure so folks be carefull we dont want to buy something we dont want, perhaps this money is used in an other country to prepare something bad, who know who is doing these fraud site, internet genious hacker or intelligent poeple working in high society, who know, be carefull again… Anyways it is almost impossible to do that much money easyly like that cause the governement would do it to so think about it everybody would be rich in short laps of time….

  35. Jay Blake says:

I thought the same thing about the earncashwithgoogle. I figured that for 1.97 for a free trial kit isn’t tht big of a deal. Howerver, as I waited for the kit to arrive my credit card was charged 72.96 for use of a website. There was nothing that I saw about automatically subscribing me to this website($72.96)and iPlanFinancial magazine($38.34) The trial membership ran out and I was billed this morning and with the phone calls I made it looks like I may be out the 72.96. When i talked to Google they had knowledge of the 1.97 for the kit,(which I still haven’t got) but not the 72.96 freshkeywordideas.com charged me. I hope to get to the bottom of this very soon and am open to suggestions on how to or who to deal with. Thanks for the help. I wish I had read this page earlier.

  38. I just saw this posted in a Google discussion apparently from a reporter from TV New Zealand:

“Hi – I’m a reporter with Television New Zealand’s “Fair Go” consumer rights programme. I have been investigating this “Earn Cash Fast With Google” website and “Fair Go” would like to run a story on internet scams and how people can protect themselves. I note that there are a number of NZrs on this site who have been sucked in by this website. I would like to pursue this with the banks and advise you how to get your money back – and would like to warn others how to avoid falling into the same trap. Please contact me if you are happy to tell “Fair Go” about your experience. Email to [email protected] with your contact details and I will call you to discuss. Thank you!

  41. Elsa, I’m not sure if this is the same product as you’re talking about:

http://googlecashsecretclub.com/ (Others – do NOT sign up for that).

When I clicked on the Terms and Conditions it took me to this site:

    https://secure.securesiteorders.com/googes/080409/documents/terms.php

Does http://www.googlecashsecretclub.com look like the right site? (Others – do NOT sign up for that).
