Automated Wealth System Opinion

Q: Do you know anything about Brent Austin’s Automated Wealth?

A: It’s NOT on our top 10 recommended home business list and it IS on our not recommended list here, but you may or may not agree with our reasoning as this is a matter of “guilt by association” and it’s a bit technical to explain.

But here’s the explanation:

I did what’s called a reverse-ip lookup on the server that automatedwealthsystem.com and found 32 domains on the same IP address (basically that just means they all live in the same neighborhood). Typically when you have a small number of sites like that (the number is actually much smaller, because many of the sites are mispellings) they tend to be owned by the same person or group of people.

One site on the list is an extremely questionable one called MakeMoneyTakingSurveys.org that we discuss here and another one called Underground Cash Secret which we talk about here (also not recommended) where there are reports of people trying to cancel and then getting asked what “they’re credit card limits are” (which is PROBABLY related to a questionable sales practice for trying to sell people additional information based on how much money they still have available – although salespeople who are SLICK at doing that can get that out of you without you ever knowing it’s going on).

So, here’s the thing. Nobody who reviews for WorkAtHomeTruth has DIRECT experience with “Automated Wealth System”, but based on the OTHER products in the “same neighborhood” I’d be VERY careful about pursuing it.

Here are some of the other sites hosted in the “same neighborhood” (note, the number is 58 now, but many are just different names for the same product):

That is a decent write up on the matter here.I didn’t know about this little known method of bussiness here so I guess I glad I read this.

  2. melissa says:

After looking into the Automated Wealth Sys. I, too, found the same address’, different names, and a few different business opportunities. I’m so tired of being ripped off by these jerks. I wish it would all stop.

  3. Sharon Peluso says:

I just purchased both the cheaper version and the upgraded version of Brent Austins automatedwealthsystems and cannot log into any of the so called information that I paid for, the phone number for the paysite does not work in Canada and the email address for support with autmmatedwealthsystems will not respond.

    Ripped off again

  4. Jeanenne says:

That’s me, and I can’t find the part of the site where you are supposed to be able to get your money back under the “100% money back guarantee.” DUH for me!

  5. jimmy says:

i recently ordered the automated wealth system. i guess i shouldnt of had those beers before doing so because it it all crap. first you pay 49 bucks for the course then you have to upgrade for another 67 dolalrs then to get you site on all the search engines you have to pay another 45 bucks. i am calling them back today to cancel it all. all these work from home businesses are crap! has anybody found any program that actually worked?

  6. Mary L says:

Well-looks like I’m notthe only one trying to “get back into the system” At 2am after 3 hours setting up a URL,etc, I decided to comeback to it -no luck for 7 days. Only a referral phone number in US (with a $5 fee) But watch out! I copied the process pages and at the very tail end there’s a monthly service fee of $69.90 which starts after 7 day trial! Is that scary! I found this through a referral from another very reputable job-search site I deal with. Was listed as 10 best entries into on-line jobs. I’ve backed out my credit card-maybe at least they’ll call me.

  7. Mary, it sounds like what you saw was an advertisement. Because of the way alot of the ad-serving systems work (i.e. Google Adsense) it’s really difficult to control what advertising shows up on a site.

The advertising is displayed automatically by the ad-serving system based on the content of the pages the ads will display on. Nothing is typically done unless a user (or multiple users) flag(s) the ad(s).

  8. marc says:

thanx to all the info i recently orderd the wealth program, what a joke i couldnt find any way to get that 100% refund so i dropped the card.

  9. Laura says:

Hi. I was looking at buying Automated Wealth Systems, and then I got here to you website……….not so good what I have read so far. This is the thing though I have been on other review sites that recommend this system as one of the best out there including customer service.
HELLOOOOOO…I am confused, each day I look I am more confused. Who do we believe?
Are there any official websites with ratings from the government or something?

    Thanks to all

  10. No.

  11. I have sent a few Emails informing you of my cacelation before my 60 day trial period is up but I have not recieved a confermation from you. Please Email me. Thanks

I was just about to upgrade to VIP when a problem with an add on cut into my net service. I typed in the support @ address and guess where I ended up! Here! Now is that my guardian angel taking care of me or what! The $17 bucks is noting compared to what I could have lost. I will stop trying to get to the support, and just be glad that I didn’t get any farther in than I did! Thank you !

  17. kassie52509 says:

I was just about to upgrade to VIP when an add-on problem caused the server to close. Was that my guardian angel looking out for me or what! I will just consider the $17 another lesson learned and consider myself lucky that when I tried to get support@ I got this instead! When will we ever learn there isn’t an easy way?! Thank you!

  18. goran says:

    cant anybody arrest this man?

  19. kassie52509 says:

When I made the last entry, I had not tried to get the $17 back. It was a “pending” charge on my card. I live in the US, in Ohio, I called the number in the email they sent me, for support, and asked to have my money returned, that I had decided it was not for me. I received an email from the pay center saying the amount would be refunded. When I checked my charge for activity the next day, th pending charge was gone and there had been no activity. So I am not out the money. They continued to call to try to get me to listen to their speel, but have finally faded away. They said they have to have new success stories every 12 months, it is a law or regulation, something like that. If that gives anyone something new to research, go for it and post to let us know what you find out. Since I am fairly new to the comp my skills and knowledge on how to research things are limited at this time, or I would do it myself. Kassie52509

  20. kassie52509 says:

Just went back to see what the correct name was where the transactions are done; it is called Secured Pay Center, if that helps anyone. I really hope that it does. Kassie52509

  21. Phillhv says:

I am not in the internet business. I am looking for legit home based internet business that can be automated. My background is marketing and as such I have a limited understanding of internet marketing. I don;t think the initial response above with all the web sites in a neighborhood is conclusive. Look if I were starting a business that required a large number of people to make one sale I common sense would dictate that I would need a lot of web sites in order to generate enough traffic. If I was in retail and I needed to to generate 10 million is sales to earn $200,000 income chances are I would need to open up quite a few stores. especially on low ticket items that required volume. One web site is not going to do it. This guy is working an internet business that is built on other needing his internet business savvy. To be successful he needs to generate a lot of interest, again a single site won’t do it. When I help people develop their marketing plan for their consulting businesses I always tell them that they should have multiple web sites. Look, you do a web search on a certain item on Google. Thousands of businesses come up, pages full. You now have to look at everyone? No one has the time or inclination to do that. So, how do you increase the odds that you will be found? Lots of web sites updated regularly to try and drive traffic to you. That is basic internet marketing. Google’s Adsense and Adwords programs are built on that concept.

having said all that 90% of ALL biz ops on the internet are either scams or very overzealous at their income projections. That does not mean none of them will work or that their aren’t any legit. People that are happy don;t go to these forums. Why? Because they are happy. So take all of this with a grain of salt too. I don’t know if I am going to do any of these, but if I were there are two requirements I would want. I want to talk to a real person and validate the location and existence of the company and two, I want to validate the state they are incorporated in and see of their are filed complaints. I would also prefer a Revenue Share program where if I make money they make more money with a one time upfront fee for their materials and services. That would be fine, they need to make a living too but let’s share the bulk of it.

Just trying to present a balanced perspective and avoid a witch hunt. Their are no guarantees in anything and their are no rewards without some risk. Again, I am not sure multiple web sites even at the same exact location means they aren’t legit. The best way to know is to speak to people that have done it and recognize that they aren’t going to be found here in a complaint site looking for scams. Find a company you can call and speak to someone and then get 2 dozen other numbers of people doing it from them to verify.

  22. Wow, it’s almost as if you didn’t read the initial post at all.

So you’re OK with him using fake testimonials and pictures from stock photo sites for those fake testimonials?

You’re OK with these companies providing poor customer service?

Of course i understand that unhappy people post complaints, but if you researched the history of these companies you’d know that it’s beyond this.

There are plenty of legitimate trainers out there which are covered on this site.

Let us know what you’re consulting company is so people can avoid it at all cost – since apparently you’re fine with deceptive advertising practices.

I just got another email advertising AWS. I did not look into the whole thing, but it was the opening speel for the whole thing all over again! I deleted it and am done with that sort of thing, I hope. I would still like to get some work that I could do on the comp from home. Problem is I have no idea how to do it! And my credit card statement showed that I DID get a refund of the $17; By calling the support number in the email they sent me when I signed up. Just wanted to keep all updated. kassie52509

I have tried this method of contact with some other things and always get an error code that says something about Gmail not being recognized or something to that effect, so just closed it out. Definitely not a support website. kassie52509

  27. Thanks, Kassie

Well, you’re doing better than me. I still can’t even get the page to come up.

  28. kassie52509 says:

Paul, It isn’t a page that came up, just an oblong email comment window with their support address in the “To” slot. Not exactly a page, lol. It some times comes up and then just slides?? under the page you are on! Sort of goofy, but I don’t know how else to explain it.kassie52509

AWS called me again! The person really talked to you and asked all kinds of questioms And then says a director will be calling you to invite you to join AWS. They called but my sister answered and hung up on them; and erased the message with a number to call this Jessie girl I had been talking to. I am trying to get back to the top, and set a plan into action. Right now it is loooking really iffy. I just wanted a chance to see how they would handle a bait and switch. I hope they call so I can playt! Kassie52509

  31. kassie52509 says:

Well, the call came through. What I fail to understand is I bought the E book?for 17 dollars and then I got the $17 back. So basically, they shouldn’t even be calling me after this long a time, they should be aware by now that I backed out of the deal right at the start! I do wonder how they
    can’t know that!
I answered all questions, but gave no pertinent info to them. Then was on hold and then talked to national director Who talked, explaining things for a good hour. Since I greatly lowered the amount on my credit card they offered to finance over half of the setup/training/startup fee, leaving me to come up with $2500 down payment. I tried to get them to front all the money for the fees and I pay them back but they wouldn’t go for it. I want to trust them, but can’t trust them 2500′s worth. The support link in the letter from them aboveIs a no-go. No matter what I type in the redipients section or anything else works, I get a “no marches found” message. It is a bogus sight. I am done and will tell them so if they call back. I have to put the phone back on the hook for them to do that, lol.

    kassie52509

  32. Thanks for the update, Kassie.

Hopefully they’ll heed your “I’m done” message as I’ve seen other companies that continue to call relentlessly even after people tell them not to call again.

My guess is that this won’t be one of them, but will be curious to see what happens.

  33. Robert says:

    Kassie52509,

I hear you, and for others out there wondering the same thing, like the rest of you (hopefully) you work hard for your dollar and you dont want to just throw it away. Yes, there are risks involved but most sites I seen practically promise 6 figure incomes. Now I dont know about you, but even if I made a 6 figure income, I wouldnt know what to do with it… (No comments please) My point is if they can’t run a legit bussiness and tell you what’s going on before you pay, it’s not worth it. My mom has always told me, If you have to pay to work, then it’s not a job.
You don’t see any site… not that I have found that will invest in it’s users (the people that pay good money) upfront, and figure out a way to make money off the user.. So, until I see that, I have a hard time trusting any of these systems. After all, if the “company” is going to take a very small risk like that, then they might be worth looking at. (after all, if you dont make money, they don’t… but theres always someone that will, not much of a chance..) But ones like you talked about kassie are pretty much just rippoff to be honest.. also, if you look around on the net enough you get an idea of what most of these systems are all about, and maybe even how to make one your self.. My cents fokes.

  34. Roberts right. There’s no real mystery about how to make money online.

    I talk about that here:

    Be Where the Money Is.

I have training that I recommend on this site, but I also point people to a lot of free resources. Some people can figure things out all by themselves like Robert. Other people need extra support.

Of course the trick is to figure out which sites will actually GIVE you support and which ones will just CLAIM that they’ll give you support in order to get your money.

  35. Robert says:

Paul. Yes, you are certainly correct. There is money out there, it’s jsut like anything else… I was looking in to http://www.makemoneywithsurveys.org Now this is surveys, Now I am not sure how many real surveys there even offering, but on paper the whole thing looks good, but again I would do my research… 34.00… might not seem like a lot of cash to some, but to most of us, it is. You could make like up to 13 grand a year, and that’s not too bad for just sitting there… taking surveys (quite a few if you ask me?) but yeah there’s money out there, it’s just tapping in to it that counts… Even if a program had cost 5% of what you made.. it would be worth it…

  36. I’ll save you some time on MakeMoneyWithSurveys.org Robert.

Bottom line: Skip it. It’s pretty much impossible to make much money at all with Paid Surveys these days.

Now there are some exceptions, but it’s just a matter of supply and demand.

Nowadays, the market research companies are swamped with people wanting to be on their panels. So, they are in the drivers seat and most of them will merely offer to enter you in a sweepstakes for each offer you complete.

Of course there are some exceptions, but overall it’s not like 20 years ago when focus group panels and market research companies weren’t as well known.

Besides you can get all that information for free at sites like: SurveyPolice.com

  37. Robert says:

Right, as my mom said, It’s not 80′s anymore, No one pays for opinions, they just get them! I just had noticed the site, and thought Well this would sound good to use as an idea, but again, these sites dont offer to make money from what you do, as in a job… Like say, you work for Burger King (I know, how dull…but it get’s better) Say you make an hourly wage, not much, but it pays.. and say that the manager made so much of a percent for how much the store had sold… The worker gets a flat fee (with some cheep bonuses) and the manager just made off pretty good for all them whoppers you helped sell… And say, Your store did really good at selling these whoopers, and you wanted to make more money… The manager gave you more work… But however if the store did poorly, then everyone feels it. This wouldn’t be a half bad system, at least on paper. Like you said, Theres money to make…

  38. LOL. I love your mom’s saying.

  39. Robert says:

Sorry, I wanted to fix that last post a bit… But unlike the b.k. worker making maybe 7.50 an hour… The works makes so much off from whatever the system is… 60% or so.. of say a click, a sale… Better the sales are, the more more he/she makes.. and the more money the company makes as well.. and say this worker did really well at the system… say so well outstandingly it was worth it to up him/her to say 70%… because you knew he/she was more value to you then say 2 60%’ers… Depending on the system, you know, nearly 0 start up cost, nearly 0 risk for both sides… it’s not a bad deal. The big guy gets the big check, the worker gets there share, everyone is more happy… and of course if any of these programs out there where nearly as successful as they claim and worked this way, You wouldn’t have to look hard for good savvy people ither, again my 2 cents…

  41. kassie52509 says:

    Hi Robert,
The Automatd Wealth System won’t be calling me again anytime soon, they are “very disappointed in me”. Do you recognize the statement Mr. Agular? I paid $17 for the low version of the plan, then in the middle my server went down. So I tried the support site on the ad, and somehow it went to this blog, maybe my Angels watching out for me, guiding me? Anyhow, I asked for a refund and got it. They called the same night. The charges are based on how much your credit limit is on a card- they don’t ask for the number or anything like that. The first time it was going to cost me over $10,000 for them to teach me for 6 months, and get my business going. The phones were acting up and in the long run that day and the next I used that to not answer their calls and they were plentiful, lol.
A few days , whatever they called again. I lowered the credit limit and the price for their services went down! Amazing! Then the “phones” had problems again. Yeah, I know, not likely 2 times in a row. But, whatever works. Don’
t know how long it was after they gave up that time, but they did call again and I talked to them again, why not!? It was their nickle! The card limit went way down this time, and they offered to finance two thirds and all I had to pay was $2500! This time I was recording the conversation, Oh, yes. they claim no money out of your pocket, that is why they want you to use a card, that is considered using other peoples money! Thus, the no out-of-pocket cost to you! Gosh those phones went on the blink again! I thought I had disconnected, but goofed, and they heard me say I had been playing them along. Oops! Sorry about that! The long and short of it is I got a lot of info that other people have the right to know, a lot of knowledge into the way they work, to help others be aware of some of the ins and outs of their speel.
I think that there is the possibilty that maybe some people can profit from them, but it is going to put them in debt to try to find out and I don’t recommend that AT ALL to anyone.
When all is said and done, I got the $17 bucks back (they never did pick up on that!), a lot of things to pass on to people who need to know, AND they aren’t calling any more! Gosh I am so disappointed! Oh! I never did get through on that support site, either Paul. Guess this will be mylast post on this topic. BEWARE PEOPLE! iT WILL COST YOU! KASSIE52509, OVER AND OUT!

  42. kassie52509 says:

Hi Paul, Don’t know how you did that but it worked. Also, have you noticed that automated wealth has attached their ad to your site? So if you pullthe the blog up by the link, their ad and the whole speel comes up in a separate window. Thought you’d like to know. Rose

  43. Robert says:

Well, I think there is money to made in this stuff, but most, I do mean most of it’s crap. Fake as all get out… The only things thats real is the guy taking your hard earned cash… I would rather trsut buying and selling on ebay before I did most of the stuff that’s out there… Anyone can promise, but as you see, few actually do… 5 dollars to 10 grand, unless they god proof, I am not touching it…

  44. Robert says:

Forum’s like this one are fantastic and although I acknowledge the hard work that goes into creating useful websites like this, I find it a little disheartening to discover advertisements posted within its “user-posted” forums.

However, those undecided about engaging in any sort of internet money making system at all need to first understand that money is deliberately not easily made. The entire system of currency since its original design as a simple bartering system, has sadly yet truthfully become, bluntly put, a system of status and power. Those with more money tend to be the people with more power. Yes it is sad but true. And equally sad but equally true is that those who have money are not going to easily part with that power.

In other words there is no such thing as a get rich quick scheme! I’d almost go as far to say as nearly any sentence with the word “scheme” in it is a sentence better inclusive of the word “scam”. (E.g: any type of government “scheme”…..)

    But all is not lost!!!

There is a simple saying that is phrased “greed is good”.

Do not despair over the fact that the internet is more than willing to suck your credit card dry and less than charitable to give you anything but insomnia in return! The fact that you have the desire, the burn, the “greed” to start making money is power in its own. Apply that greed and you’ve already taken the first step. Anyone with desire can achieve.

Put simply. Dont believe this shit.

Formulate a business idea. Research the market. Be prepared to spend money to make money.

………….Wow I never thought I could get into this forum business this is fantastic!!!
