EasyFortune500Profits Complaints

46

I was sort of surprised to see the EasyFortune500Profits offer still around, although I wasn't too suprised to see the number of complaints against Easy Fortune 500 Profits as I remember thinking a while back that I wasn't too crazy about EasyFortune500Profits.com.

I'm going to see if I can see what I didn't like about it by going through their order process.

The EasyFortune500Profits order process

OK. I let the countdown timer expire to see what would happen if I then pressed the refresh button on my browser. When I refreshed the browser I got the message "Time expired – Enroll Now!"

Ummm. What's the point of having the countdown timer then?

The first page of EasyFortune500Profits.com also claims that the WashingtonPost.com interviewed someone named "Jared C." but doesn't give a full last name which is a bit odd if a major newspaper like the WashingtonPost interviewed him.

I searched for a few phrases on WashingtonPost.com to see if I could find the interview. I searched for the following:

  • EarnFortune500Profits
  • EarnFortune500Profits.com
  • www.EarnFortune500Profits.com
  • Earn Fortune 500 Profits
  • "This opportunity is for real" (apparently that's supposed to be from the interview).
  • "I'm now making around 100k" (again, apparently that's from the interview).

I tried searching for "Jared C." and "Jared" too but I still couldn't find the interview. I also did a few archive searches on the WashingtonPost. I'm not saying it's not there, but I'm pretty good at finding those kinds of things and I was completely unable to locate it.

Finishing up page 1 of EasyFortune500Profits:

I filled out the form on page one that asked for:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Address
  • City
  • State
  • Postal Code
  • Country
  • Phone
  • Email

I Then I clicked the button that said "Send My Software" so I guess that's it and my software is on the way…

OOPS.  Nope. I have more information to enter on page 2, including my credit card and pay $1.96 to get my Free software. Also, I have to pay $1.96

Well, I guess it could be worse (that's called "Foreshadowing" for those of you who skipped your English lit classes).

What's that under the "Send My Software" submit button on page 2 of EasyFortune500Profits.com?

"Terms and Disclosures. By clicking "Ship My Free Kit", I am ordering the EasyFortune500Profits CD and trial membership for $0.96 for Shipping and $1.00 for Handling/Insurance. I will also receive 10 day and 14 day bonus trials to Grant Success and Business Suite as my free gift for ordering the Success CD from this website. I have read and agree to the Privacy Policy / Terms and Conditions. Charges will appear on credit/debit statements as "EasyFortune500Profits".
For questions, call 866-519-5308 any time. "

I better check to see how much I'll be charged for Grant Success and Business Suite and figure out how I would cancel them…also I need to find out what the monthly fees for for the EasyFortune500Profits program itself are…

OK. Here's what I found out:

  • EasyFortune500Profitsprogam is $75/month after the 7 day trial period…which would be $900 per year…WOW! That's at least 10 times more expensive than anything on our Top 10 Recommended Home Business list!
  • I couldn't find how much the charges for the Grant Success Site would be after the  2 week trial.
  • I also couldn't find how much the charges for the Business Suite would be after the 10 day trial.

I'm not going to get the Easy Fortune 500 Profits, but personally I would want to know what ALL the charges were going to be before entering my credit card number there.

An idea! I'll call and ask since EasyFortune500Profits says I can call that 1-866-519-5308 number any time to ask questions.

Hmm. I called at 12:57 am Central Standard Time and got a recorded message telling me that ifI got the message between the hours of 9 to 5 Monday through Friday that it meant that all of their representatives were assisting other questions.

OK. I'm a little confused about why the told me I could call and ask questions anytime instead of giving me the office hours, although in all fairness to them they just said I could CALL and ask questions anytime…they never said anyone would be there to actually ANSWER the questions.  And they did tell me to leave a message and someone would call me back, but that I could get faster service if I sent the question to support@impactwealthsolutions.com.

How do I cancel EasyFortune500Profits?

I like to know how to cancel monthly services or trial offers before I take them as I've just heard too many horror stories of people not being able to cancel recurring charges for things – the classic AOL story about the guy who recorded his attempt to cancel AOL jumps instantly to mind.

I did find out how to cancel EasyFortune500Profits in their Terms and Conditions here and it said this:

"If Subscriber wishes to cancel in any event, Subscriber must email support@easyfortune500profits.com notifying them of their request, at which time they will be provided an Internet link leading to a Cancellation Request Form that Subscriber agrees to print, complete and return by US Mail to the address listed on the cancellation form."

That seems so weird to me. I mean I don't understand why there are so many steps I have to go through to cancel. And why can't they just link to the actual refund form from right there in the Terms and Conditions? When I canceled NetFlix and GameTap I was able to easily do it right on their site all by myself.

By the way there are also some timing requirements for canceling EasyFortune500Profits that I HIGHLY suggest you read in the Terms and Conditions if you're still thinking of getting this.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find how to cancel the Grant Success site monthly fees or the Business Suite monthly fees.  And I still don't know exactly WHAT the monthly fees for those are and would prefer not to enter my credit card in their form until I DO have that information.

Anyhow…If someone can point me to that information it might be helpful to quite a few folks. I'm assuming they wouldn't require someone to put their credit card information and press the submit button without giving that information in advance. I'd like to think that anyhow.

Click here for EasyFortune500Profits' Terms and Conditions (note, link may or may not work depending on whether it's the same when you read this).

I have been billed $69.95 for two month to my cc, I don't know where these guys came from. I get into programs like this so I have no idea how they got my account number in the first place. Further more this is not the first time this company has hit my account. I had this problem years ago, and even then, I did nothing to initiate this. How do you go about pressing criminal charges against companies like this. I have read so much about people being ripped off. I don't want other people taken advantage of like this.

Guys,
The best thing we can all do is file complaints with:
The Federal Trade Commission
The BBB
Your State's Attorney Generals Office
The FBI

I think that the more complaints that's recieved the better our chances for a lawsuit against this company. This company has posted in it's terms and conditions how we to cancel and they are not holding to their own words. I was just on the phone with these guys yesterday and POLITELY informed them that if they don't hold to their end of the bargan, I will be filing complaints and seeking legal actions against them. I'm very happy that my bank is working with me; refunding my money and filing a dispute in which this company have apprx. 40 days to respond. I will continue to help you all as we help each other, as much as I can. So to easyfortune500; LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!!!!!!

File a chargeback with your banks and explain that you signed up for a trial and requested a cancellation before the trial ended. Then make sure you tell them that the email that was given to you for cancellation requests were bogus and you had to track down their phone number.

It's very easy! I have also been scammed and the solution was to ask your bank to change the number of your credit card. If they refuse, call them and inform them you have lost it. They'll immediately send you another one and those scammers will not be able to draw money.

Good luck

Dear Jahz'eem,

I agree with you, we have to sue these people.Indeed, they are not many, just few but with many different companies.
You can try with "Automated Wealth System (AWS)with the professional scammer called Brent Austin. I'm doing my best to sue this guy ASAP.

Together we can change stop these people.

I came across this company today from my online survey group. Here is the url https://www.opportunityknaux.com/MzxoiPLQiwknwokd/OA/EF500/
I did a search and Im soo glad people like you post about these types of scams. Thank you every one. I sent a test email to the support email address. Guess what…it was returned undeliverable. I also emailed my survey group letting them know if they want me to evaluate swindlers, it reflects poorly on their reputation. Love your website!

Yeah, I was ripped off through easyfortune500profits.com as well. I called to cancel within my free trial period of 7 days and it is absolutely impossible to cancel within that time using their system of having to mail in your cancellation request (I got an answering machine saying that it was so full of messages that I couldn't even leave a message basically). It is unbelievable, I sent an e-mail then and it was never returned, then I called and the woman told me that I should have received a cancellation link back after my e-mail, that she then gave to me over the phone. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said there were none there because they had all gone home for the day, I then asked for a phone number to leave a message for somebody above her and she said that she would try to transfer me, but that she didn't have the number to give me. She then pretended to transfer me, but I could still hear people talking at the call center so I'm not sure that she didn't even try to and she came back on a second later saying that it was busy and I could call back tomorrow. Then later in the conversation she stated that even if I call back tomorrow there would be no supervisors because it is just a call center (when just previously she said they had all gone home for the day). It is unbelievable these people are still in business and still stealing from people daily. If there is a lawsuit I would love to be in on it!! I plan on reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and following this up until I get my money back.

I could just cry! I can't believe people do this, knowingly rip people off. People who are going to file a real lawsuit, contact us all, united we could win. Did anyone else get called and asked questions like why you wanted to make money online, on a scale of 1-10 how committed are you, etc? These people suck and I will NEVER do anything else on-line without first researching it, especially since I do NOT have the finances for real products, let alone SCAMS!

Hi,
I am the latest victim of easy fortune 500 Profits. I signed up for their offer and I was supposed to receive a welcome email 24 hours later and after 48 hours of no welcome email, I emailed them at the support link they had provided and I got a delivery failure notification. 0n the 6th day I called them up to cancel and after tyring to get in touch with them non-stop for 3 hours, I finally got a representative who let ne know that I will receive a cancellation email. I was on hold with the representative as I got disconnected the first time after tyring for 3 hours then she got very exasperated with me and I took down her employee id & hung up. After 2 hours I called them again and this time round I refused to hang up until I saw the email. The customer service rep then guided me to a url http://www.millionairemission.biz/cancellation.pdf and told me to fill the form out and mail it to them. I did ask him if my account stood cancelled as it would take a few days for the mail to reach them and he let me know that the account was cancelled again I got the Employee Id #. I called up my bank immediately and instructed them not to charge me anything more then $1.69 and explained the whole situation to them. The bank in turn took them employee id of the representative and told me that I should be all set. Yesterday after 3 weeks, I received the introductory CD, so I called up the comapny right away to find out why I received this now and also to find out how to return the CD. The Customer serive rep was very vague and told me that I will have to follow the instructions on the email that I received. After explaining to her there was no email, I asked her how much I was billed and she let me know that I was billed $69.95 and that my accout was cancelled on the 31st. Even though I had cancelled it on the 23rd. She then refused to give me the cancellation # saying that I will get it in the email. She also transferred me to voice mail when I asked her for her employee id. I left a message on the voice mail along with my name & telephone #. I called the support number again and I got the same rep. again after letting her know it was me (the person she transferred to a voice mail) I got her employee id number and after a bit I asked to speak to the supervisor who it turns out is not available and I left a message for him. I called up my bank
and they let me know that there was a charge for $69 from this company. Upon enquiring further they told me that sometimes the merchant finds a way to defeat the system. So for now the bank is going to dispute my claim.
I wrote a detailed complain to the BBB (and no surprise they are not listed) and will call up the attorney general's office too. Their refusal to give me the cancellation # as well as their inability to provide me with instruction on returning the CD makes me fear that they are going to charge my CC again.

Does telling the bank that you lost your card really help? or will the "merchant" find a way to defeat the system again?
Please advise, I am at my wits end.

I had signed up in order to complete an offer for free stuff and was going to cancel before the 7 days which today is my cancellation day and I could not get in touch with anyone…. always the same recording, so I started searching, which brought me here. I am not going to fool with them. I'm just going to call and report my card stolen and be done with it.

I have the same situation, emailed them so many times, and it was invalid email address they told us for the cancellation, tried to contact them over the phone for charging me $69.95 on my account. They have so many alibis. This is really fake, scammed people like us who are just trying to find ways for a decent living. But im pretty sure it will all come back to them on what they did to all of us coz i believe in KARMA.I already talked to my bank and they all gonna help me to make a dispute regarding this company.

I am currently trying to get my money back too. I am going to the bank tomorrow to file a dispute. If any of you decide to take this to court and make a case out of it please include me! I just wish I would have done a search before I agreed to the trial offer! I'll let you all know how it turns out. Has anyone on here already filed a dispute and been successful? Has anyone been successful at all? Thanks everyone! Best of luck to all of you too!

I have made the same mistake.I was only aware of the 1.96 for shipping and handling. I have been charged 69.95 for the last 3 months even after telling them to stop each time where as they said I had to follow proceedure they would send me the form to fill out. Which I have never received. Today I've had enough! Called the number my bank gave me 1-800-645-0418. For the 3rd month. For her to continue to say I had to follow proceedure. How am I suppose to follow procedure when you don't send me the form. I want it to stop. CLICK. I called back where as the same woman (Ellen) answers the phone. Why did you hang up? Maam you wont listen to me on proceedures. Excuse me I've been following your proceedure for 3 months now. You do not send me the form. CLICK again. I know she didn't! Called again when the same woman answers I said we can go on like this all day if you want because I'm going to keep calling till I get an answer. Maam you have to follow procedure. I want to talk to your boss. I have given you the answer -no I want to talk to your boss – Im not allowed to give you that number. She puts me on hold and says she can't reach him the line is busy . Well I'll hold on till its not busy. She continue to tell me sometimes its that way all the time . Well give me a name . She can't do that . Well give me the company name . Fortune 500 profits. Well since I'm paying for this what am I supposed to be buying. Internet business. What am I selling or buying?????? She can't answer anything but that it's an internet business. So I am running a business that I don't know what I'm selling or the name of my business ????? She puts me on hold supposedly to try calling again a couple of more times. So I start thinking why is she (Ellen) the only customer service representative that answers the phone? She is the only one there she replies. I'm sending you the form right now to your email. Big Business??? Well its been 6 hours and guess what no email. Today I Cancelled my credit card account. I hope my nightmare is over

What a scam. I disputed the charges with my credit card company. They obliged. The next billing cycle, guess what, another charge from these crooks.
The only way to stop the charges is to pay off your credit card and cancel it. That's what I am doing now and filing a complaint with the Attorney General's Office.
