Internet-Scam-Review starts out with a bang and ends with a whimper…mabye even LESS than a whimper…maybe it ends with a tiny LOL plucked out of the depths of a mouse’s ear.
OK. So it starts out by slamming Google Money Tree. Great. That’s a good start. If you’ve seen the huge discussion we have going on about GoogleMoneyTree here you’ll know that slamming GoogleMoneyTree is the right thing to do.
Bizarrely, though…it ends up recommending a $39.95 paid survey database offer which is something you can get all over the internet now for free and really isn’t worth doing for MOST people even for free. I just talked to a guy today who tried one of these and spent 15 minutes trying to qualify for a survey only to find out he didn’t qualify and basically gave away 15 minutes of his life to the wind.
If you’re a regular reader of the WorkAtHomeTruth newsletter then you know there’s ZERO chance that something like that would EVER end up any where near our top 10 recommended home businesses list.
Is the #1 Internet-Scam-Review.com recommendation OWNED by the owner of the site Internet-Scam-Review.com?
When I clicked on the link for the paid survey offer on Internet-Scam-Review I noticed that the ClickBank affiliate link for it is BILLKILL.SURVBROK6.[HOP.CLICKBANK.NET] – note I added the “[" & "]” to make sure you don’t click on that link and accidently buy the product!
Gee, that “BILLKILL” part of the affiliate link reminds me of something…what could it be?
Oh, that sounds just like the #1 recommendation on the Internet-Scam-Review site…so let’s do a little more digging…
I did what’s called a reverse-ip lookup which finds domains hosted on the same “i.p. address”…you don’t have to worry about the technicalities…just think of it as finding all the websites living in the same neighborhood.
As a rule of thumb if there’s only around 30 websites on the same i.p. the chances are good that either they are all owned by the same person or company or owned by people or companies that know each other.
As of today Internet-Scam-Review is hosted on I.P. 67.212.163.250 along with the following other sites:

YourBillKiller.com
- Name on site: Chris Jackson
- Registered to: Registration hidden by Domains by Proxy
- The October 17, 2007 version of YourBillKiller.com show here is run by someone named “Costa” and one of the testimonials says, “Costa Dedes Knows his stuff.”
So here’s what we have so far:
- The site YourBillKiller.com which original used the name Castas Dedes but now uses the name Chris Jackson
- The site Peters-Scam-Review.com which uses the name Chris Jackson, which is registered to Costantine Dedes
- The site Internet-Scam-Review.com is hosted on the same IP as YourBillKiller.com, Peters-Scam-Review.com, and CostaDedesNewsletter.com
Additional information to consider:
- The site Internet-Scam-Review.com uses the following links to link to their #1, #2, & #3 picks:
- #1 choice: *www.YourBillKiller.com/google.php
- #2 choice: *billkill.homecash6.hop.clickbank.net
- #3 choice: *billkill.survbrok6.hop.clickbank.net
- You can check the image below to verify that:
billkill2 links to recommendations
Not only is the affiliate id for recommendations #2 & #3 “BillKill”, but NO affiliate id is used to promote the #1 product at all. USUALLY (not always) that wouldn’t make much sense UNLESS the person RECOMMENDING the product was also the OWNER of the product.
Note: It’s POSSIBLE that this could be an affiliate who’s worked out a deal with a vendor who’s product he/she likes to set up a unique order process traceable only to THAT affiliate…but in light of the other information this doesn’t seem like the most likely scenario.
Both Internet-Scam-Review.com and YourBillKiller.com use the SAME CrazyEgg analytics tracking code…
The image of the CrazyEgg analytics tracking code from Internet-Scam-Review.com is shown below

Internet-Scam-Review.com CrazyEgg analytics tracking code
The image of the CrazyEgg analytics tracking code from YourBillKiller.com is shown here:

YourBillKiller CrazyEgg analytics tracking code
Now it looks like the last part of those tracking codes are unique account identifiers for users of CrazyEgg – the “/0009/9161.js” and they are the SAME for both sites.
Disclaimer: I don’t use CrazyEgg and have not verified that conclusively.
Conclusion regarding Internet-Scam-Review.com and YourBillKiller.com:
It’s seeming HIGHLY PROBABLE that the YourBillKiller.com – #1 recommendation on Internet-Scam-Review.com is OWNED by the same person who owns and runs Internet-Scam-Review.com
Q.E.D.
Additional observations about YourBillKiller.com
After the headline at YourBillKiller, YourBillKiller starts out with the following claim:
“Hi, my name is Chris Jackson and yes that is a picture of me and my family below”
Which references the following photograph:
By the way, I BOUGHT the rights to use this photo at IStockPhoto.
Here are some other sites uses that family photo. Gee, “Chris Jackson” sure is generous with his family photo.

You know. Costa Dedes used to put out interesting and legimate techniques early on in his career – often selling the information on them before they were publicly available.
Now it seems he’s more into this kind of stuff. I even saw him bragging about how much money he made promoting the Doubling Stocks program (do NOT buy it) in the Doubling Stocks Affiliate section here where he proudly states:
“I just wanted to let you know your program converts like crazy. I sent out one simple mailing to my list and made over $3,600.00!”
Click here to see the rest of his testimonial and a picture of Costa Dedes…but PLEASE DO NOT BUY Doubling Stocks.
Now THAT’S something to be proud of.
Reminder:
- Do NOT Buy Doubling Stocks
- Do NOT Buy Doubling Stocks
- Do NOT Buy Doubling Stocks
If you think I’m being ridiculous about how much I’m warning you to NOT BUY a PRODUCT I JUST TOLD YOU NOT TO BUY…

What product do you recommend for someone who has no experience in making money online and who wants to start now. Thanks!
Yolande,
I would say the one discussed in the write-up called Beginners Affiliate Marketing System which is called MegaClassifiedMillions.
Interesting… Another one that “recommends himself” using other people’s names =)
That seems to be the “last way out” when you burn your bridges with people…
So your saying the Bill Killer sysytem offered is a scam? So why are they allowed to operate to sell it on the internet if they are stealing peoples money? If they sell something they are advertiseing and they dont have what they are saying they do thats stealing, fraud.
Thomas,
One thing you’ll notice is that I rarely specifically call something a scam or “fraud” because there is a legal definition of fraud that Lynn Edginton explains in this discussion of Google Money Tree Complaints.
But to address you’re question more generally – there are thousands, if not tens of thousands of scams running online right now and the reason they can’t be stopped is a bit cumbersome to explain and even I’m learning more information about that from Lynn. While a lot of it has to do with resources available to deal with the scams, there are issues such as people filing PROPER complaints initially to catch the interest of the appropriate regulatory agencies as well as other reasons that I hope Lynn will elaborate on over time.
Dear Paul,
I have been researching for about 6 months on a ligit internet business, until NOW I am still researching for the kind of stuff that your pay $XX and then, they asked you for more, and more, and you never get anywhere. My questions would be about the same as Yolande; you recommend:
Beginners Affiliate Marketing System which is called MegaClassifiedMillions.
Can you be more specific about the cost, ease of follow instructions, return on investment, how long to start making some money, etc.?
I am still waiting for your answer Paul…
Oh, sorry about that Stella.
Extra cost would be:
1) About $10/Month for premium version of USFreeAds.
I’ve put the extra expenses required for products in this section for over a year now, but here they are again:
Self funding home businesses, but I’ll
2) Sometimes you need to buy a domain (that’s the http://www.whatever.com) which is about $9/year). You don’t need to put up a website but someties you need the domain to be able to get into the affiliate network.
3) Nobody can ever tell you how fast you can make money. First of all, everyone’s learning curve is different. But I’ve certainly seen enough people earn with this method in the first month out to say that’s possible. Michael told me not long ago about a guy with no experience who made $225 in his first month. I think his testimonial is up at the site now.
What I would say about this system is it’s a massive-action system. It’s easy to do, but if you really want to increase your odds you need to put up a lot of ads.
There’s no way possible to give you any sort of ROI. I’d just be lying my a** off if I did since there are so many factors. But what I can tell you is that the expenses are extremely minimal as mentioned above.
You might want to read the following as well:
1) Beginners Affiliate Marketing System. Look for Michael Browns’ comments (he created the product). Also look for my reply to Adrian.
2) My answer to someone’s question about the difference between NB & MegaClassifiedMillions.
Thanks for your blog. I’ve only recently gotten serious about investigating money making opportunities on the internet. I’m sure the information you provide will substantially shorten my learning curve. You’re provding a great service. Best regards!
You”re welcome James.

what do you think is the best program out there at the time because i am just tired of looking and never finding a thing that is worth my time or money and every where that i look it seems they all want money are there any free programs?thanks for any help you can offer.
ladayta,
I put a section of recommended home business sites here, many of which offer free training in various forms. But they aren’t “programs”. They tend to teach fundamental aspects of running an online business.
@Paul (Founder, WorkAtHomeTruth):
FINALLY! A review of the programs that are NOT good as opposed to good “reviews” by affiliates. Whenever I google a certains program, all I get is people that are promoting that website.
Its refreshing to see someone telling it like it is on the programs that are just sucking money out of people.
Awsome info…
I was actually looking to see if the Dean Garaziosi infommercial was a scam and ran into “internet-scam review”. I thought it was a little odd how they were trying to do business. I then googled internet-scam review scam, and that’s when I found this wonderful source.
My question, is Dean Graziosi’s infommercial a scam or not?
It depends on what your definition of “scam” is. Dean’s book is a great motivational book. It makes you think. He has some very creative ideas. But, will you be able to use any of his ideas to actually buy property? Maybe, if you work diligently, and have some luck, you might just find a property or two that you can buy using his techniques. It will not be easy, however. It will require a lot, and I mean a lot, of detailed work on your part.
Good article Paul.
I found a similar process at work in one of my investigations. #1 recommendation – as if!
Also, from a different angle in this post here, http://strangelyperfect.tv/3311/watch-out-for-the-scam-double-bluff/, I looked at the ‘joins’ between the various operations in the way they use Google search. In a nutshell, they’ve set up viral type videos & pages that are top of the Google search no matter what you type. If you look for ‘naffsite.com + scam’ OR ‘naffsite.com + opportunity’, say, you end up being served the same videos, most of which start with “naffsite.com is a scam – the REAL truth”. When you check the video it isn’t a revealing investigative insight into the scam – but a plug, plain and simple!
This is a good resource you have here Paul. Before I stumbled into this ‘field’ I knew nothing about it. Yours is one of the good sites doing proper work and saving people money – and from themselves! It’s just sooo easy to be sucked in by these merchants.
hello everybody,
I just would like to share a little something i stumbled a cross the other day after reading many negative reviews on internet money making scams. This program has been made by ewen chia nd is legit! It just depends how much time YOU put in, so if you work hard your efforts should be payed out!
DON’T BELIEVE ME???
read reviews!
CLICK HERE!!!! to check out autopilot profits
MESSED UP HYPERLINK!!
again sorry…
Does AutoPilot profits rely on running around spamming blogs with broken affiliate links?
I’m not a big fan of Ewen Chia personally. I think there’s much better material available – especially for newbies.
haha yeah that was my bad.. all im saying is that it works lol
if youve been scammed b4 from the real BS money makers then this mite bring a lil hope.. ya kno.
if u find something better than thats great for you!
all i kno is that this Program works.
LOL. Mike, I have REAL Autopilot systems I’ve developed.
I seriously doubt that you have even made any money with Ewen’s information if you’re running around posting links on blogs. It doesn’t make any sense – not to mention the fact that you kept posting broken links…so it seems maybe he’s not that great of a teacher if after studying his course you can’t even post a basic html link.
It’s called “blog spam” and Mike’s doin’ it, folks.
What was that link again? – I didn’t quite get it!
LOL,
Too funny, Strangely.
I was thinking that if I was really mean I’d create affiliate ids like “notfound” and replace all the blog spammers’ links with mine.
But I’m just toooo nice.
well like i said that was my bad lol not that he taught the wrong thing.
nd maybe im not goin about it the right way.. but the concept makes sence and maybe with a little more internet experience i will be able to become sucessful as you.
nd my apologies i didnt really mean to spam your blog wit broken links i was high.. lol i was looking at it more like i was helping people who have been scammed by givin them info nd commin up ya kno! haha
nd not spam but for strange…. Autopilotprofit.com
Hi Paul,
so are you saying that the autopilotprofit.com is a profitable investment or another site on the same level as billkiller? I am not clear on what you are promoting as actually a strong investment and what is a scam. I need to find a site that will actually help me succeed in the internet business. I am a single mom and spent way too much money on programs that are supposed to help you make crazy money from home. Are there any actual opportunities without having a ton of money to invest? Or do I really need to just suck it up and resign myself to a life in a 5 by 5 cubicle and hearing about my daughter’s life from day care teachers? Please let me know what- if any- sites may help me fulfill my goal of working at home and raising my daughter with a comfortable lifestyle and dependable income. I appreciate your blog- i found it just recently but I think you have probably already saved me a few hundred dollars! Thanks for that if nothing else!
I’m not a big fan of Ewen Chia’s products that I’ve bought in the past, but I don’t know this one.
However, I would say that the products I have seen from him are “OK”.
However, I would highly recommend you try to find a product that offers support in the form of a forum.
There is good free training at Affilorama.com and you may also want to read the discussion called Niche Affiliate Marketing Winner.
You might also want to joint the free Work At Home Truth forum here.
Even if you find a product from some other site, if for some reason you can’t get proper support, you can ask questions at the WorkAtHomeTruth forum – also there are places there for you to ask for opinions about specific products you are considering.
Yes, Bill Killer is a major scam. They take your money, then want to pry into your private financial affairs to get stories to promote their “business”. When I refused to tell them any private information, they certainly exposed themselves as “wolves in sheep’s clothing”. When I asked them the same questions they were asking me, they really became irate. What a shame a good medium like the internet is being used as a traffice medium by scum.
Jeeze, whoever wrote this blog post needs to get a life
@Sarah
Someone said just the same on my blog last week; This must be the new ‘bring me down’ phrase of ridicule.
Didn’t work though.
Thank you for the warning and a very good detail presentation on Bill Killer. You have just saved me from buing a scam program to work & make money at home.
How can I find out good work at home program.
@jan: If you have other products you looking at, you can ask in the Ask Question section here.
There are a lot of ways to go. Ideally you’ll find some way to “bootstrap your business” as described here:
Bootstrapping Your Business
I went to the website today as it was advertised in my local newpaper to make 18.50 an hour. I typed in the website which is typejob.com and it states its free–LMAO–Oh heck no its not! sure they tell you this let you get all this info about making money and fill it out its free but then when you fill it out they send you to another page telling you about all this great stuff and getting 186.00 worth of free stuff but to pay the 67.oo Oh heck yea like thats really FREE LOL Then when i said no and when to click it off it offered me 10.00 off. I learn real quick that these kind of programs are scams–previous experience taught me that. I decided that i was going to make money and i have not with any quick scam job but with something i love to do. I purchased a website with hosting for about 11.00 from go daddy and put up jewelry that i make and i signed up with small distibutors where i dont have to order 1000′s of dollars worth. Would I quit my day job heck no I dont make enough orders to keep it afloat to even purchase a car but at least its honest now i just was wondering if there was an HONEST way of getting people to see my items and without Spamming ppl on the internet. Hopefully you might know of a way that it free for me to beable to do this. Oh yea and if it tells you that you are going to make thousands in a month that would be a heads up—scam scam scam!!!!!! Especially if they want you to work why do you need to pay them lol At least thats what i learned about the internet and there are alot of theifs and now with a resession where ppl are losing there jobs people will become even more desperate.
@amy: Amy, I’d recommend you start with the free ebook at http://www.seofaststart.com which will help you start learning about how to attract visitors from the search engines.
Hi Paul,
I just stumbled onto your website looking for information on “Bill Kill”.
Thank you for all your research. Wonderful investigative work.
We are fortunate to have people like you warning us about all the scams and other rip-off practices out there.
“I’ll Be Back”.
@Bill: Thanks, Bill.
Have any of you heard or the “Jason Andrews” the online ATM program?
Steve, don’t know it.

how to I get a phone number to contact somebody from billkiller or homewebsitecenter I kept contacting them over and over by email and they kept making suggestion after suggestion to do until my money back guarentee was over. If I can’t get my money back can I file a report with someone so they don’t do this again and at least have a black mark on their record?
Theresa,
The YourBillKiller site I mentioned here looks like it’s gone, but usually with places like this it’s impossible or pointless to try to contact them by phone.
If you paid by credit card, I’d still try to file a dispute with your credit card company. The dispute procedures are usually on the back of your credit card statement.
If you paid by debit card, you’d have to work with your bank. There’s a site HelpWithMyBank.gov that may be helpful for you.
If you want to file complaints against them, the best places to file are:
1. BBB Complaint form
2. FTC Complaint Assistant
3. Internet Crime Complaint Center
4. Attorneys General list file with your state and the state that the company operates out of.
Hey Paul,
Was researching my own article about another scam marketer when I stumbled on your blog. Well written and I’m glad to see there is someone else out there exposing scam programs and systems that have one goal – taking people’s money with empty promises. Way too many these days that are nothing more than wash, rinse and repeats of crap.
I’ve been contacted by way too many people telling me stories of how they spent their last $100 – $200 on something that didn’t deliver, or was a hook to get them to make additional purchases to “upgrade” their membership, or “optimize” their income.
I’ve been making money on the Internet for many years and I’d say in the last 3 years there has been an explosion of Internet “Gurus” selling their “secret” to success with nothing more than well worded hype and false promises. Jeff Paul’s Internet Millions comes to mind, as does that infomercial “crazyfox” which was nothing more than an email gathering ploy to sell herbalife and other crap.
I suspect that infomercials will be the next big move for the scam artists. I just saw a new one yesterday by that slug, Joe Richey. “Make thousands while you sleep.” Typical with such infomercials, a big tittied blond was interviewing his “success stories.” Wow, one guy made $39,000 during a flight from London to New York!
The sad thing is that people are so desperate these days as they try to save their homes and possessions because they are out of work – and you have low-lifes trying to take their last drop of blood.
We know that money can be made from the Internet, but it doesn’t happen overnight and it doesn’t come easy. I hope your readers will keep that in mind. If it sounds too easy, it is likely BS. The days of low hanging fruit is long over. It takes work and dedication. Don’t trust those who are giving you “secrets to success” for a fee.
Good luck to you!
Thanks,
Yes. I really try to impart two important things to the readers:
1) It takes time to build a real business.
2) Even with the best systems and techniques you can only increase your odds of success.
I was stupid enough to sign up for homewebsitecenter.com. This was early in the morning before my cup of java…of course it didn’t work..I upgraded and did all that they ask you to to suck all your money. Do you know if there’s any change I get my refund? It seems like they’re asking me for my first born child..and then more. thanks !
If they had a guarantee and you tried to work out a refund directly with them per that guarantee and they didn’t honor the refund then your next step is to file a dispute with your credit card company.
Or if you paid with a debit card you’ll need to check with your bank on how to dispute the charge.
If you are in the U.S. you can get more info at: HelpWithMyBank.gov
Hey Guys,
I just want to let everyone know I sold the site you are all talking about. That maybe the main reason for a lot of issues. The company that bought it ended up going bankrupt. When we ran the site all our emails got answered within 24 hours, and we had live phone tech support.
I apologize for any confusion, but the tactics I released in the original product were outstanding and everyone loved them. Not sure how the new company handled the site, that is why my name was removed from the copy.
Costa,
I can’t imagine why you would wait so long to post this message. Let’s just say that it seems more than a little bit suspect, especially considering sales tactics used across many of your sites.
I know you put out good products early in your career and maybe you are again, but it’s been distressing to see many of the extremely questionable sales tactics across so many of your sites and your promotion of one of THE MOST fraudulent investment products in ClickBank history – Doubling Stocks – and that’s not just my opinion that’s partly based on the opinion of my good friend Lynndel Edgington who works with an assigned federal agent to help investigate financial crimes – especially investment fraud.
I’m also curious if you actually owned any of the following sites in the past – and if so, which of them you still own – as those are most of the ones I’ve been looking at:

This is actually the first time I have seen this posting, thats why I am replying to it.
I typically ignore all the bashing that my name gets and take it as something that comes with putting your name out there.
Most of my sites are purely affiliate marketing now, I have ways of generating traffic, and insted of running my own offers I promote other peoples offers. This is truely a much easier way to run an online business.
Affiliate marketing is pretty much the only type of sales you can do that does not require any customer support, or massive overhead.
For example the breast enhancement product, I simply put together a quick review page, drive traffic to it and make sales from an affiliate network. I never have to worry about shipping the product, offering refunds, or taking care of the customer. As long as the company I am promoting takes care of their customers I will continue to promote the websites.
Regarding the doubling stocks program, I never knew it was a scam. I was approached by a group that told me they had some awesome software and asked if I could send some traffic. I did, it converted. They approached me before anyone else had really promoted it. Looking back I wish I knew what they had planned, if I knew the tactics they use I would have never even thought about promoting the site.
About two months ago I learned how they operated…. yes, I promoted the site a year or so ago, but just found out what the heck they had been doing.
Regarding the sales tactics on my older sites, and affiliate sites… its direct marketing, look over just about any direct marketing material out there. Either from today, or from 50 years ago, you will find the tactics are almost exactly the same.
Here is a quick overview of a sales page:
Headline – Catch their attention
Sub Headline – spark more interest (teaser)
Desire – Give the reader something they want, yet leave them yearning for more. Add urgency and scarcity to increase the interest.
Guarantee – Make sure you tell the customer they can get a refund (you MUST honor this refund). Or however else you would like to guarantee the transaction.
Closing – Now that your reader wants more, tell them what to do. Tell them to order, or enter their email, or pick up the phone and call… whatever it is you want them to do, TELL them to do it.
Testimonials – Insert testimonials from real customers, or clients. Or add your own experience using the products (must disclose if you are receiving compensation)
Close Again, Yes tell the visitor one more time to pick up the phone, click the order button, enter their email, or whatever you want them to do.
P.S. and end of sales letter. Always sign the letter with your name, add a picture and place a P.S. statement. The PS statement should be a brief overview of the product your selling, highlight the benefits, make sure you bring urgency up again. They need to make the decision at this point, so anything to clarify the offer and make them become a lead needs to be done.
So Paul, I hope you can understand the error I made while promoting doubling stocks. I will not promote any stock market related program again. And if you ever have any questions please feel free to message me.
I have not made a public posting in awhile, so maybe I will start writing about my adventures in affiliate marketing
Costa,
I don’t think the “everybody’s doing it” argument is going to fly. Having helped the FTC directly on one of the bigger cases (In Deep Servicdes) and also talking to them about affiliate marketing – one of the big reasons they never really paid attention to affiliate marketing is they had no idea how it worked.
So, for example, in my write-ups it seems that you (or the new owner) owns review sites of products that you (or the new owner) themselves own. Now you and I know that “everybody’s doing it”, but certainly that doesn’t make it right.
I’ve been hoping that the “old Costa” would come back and it sounds like he is, so at least that’s something I’m glad to hear from you.
Hey Paul,
I have seen so many dirty affiliate marketing tactics its unbelievable.
And yes, I have been back… for awhile now… just never wanted to really bring attention to my name.
I dont plan on selling my own traffic systems, or affiliate marketing millionaire overnight type system.
I built a very strong affiliate marketing business, and plan to continue running it.
I dont run any review sites that promote my own products, not to say that I havent done that in the past.
Anyway, good job on the site! Im glad you are letting people know it is possible to start a home business, and steering them away from possible scams.
Thanks, Costa
Glad to hear it. And I hear what you’re saying about Doubling Stocks – after all that’s what made them so good at scamming – they were pros at it and when you have people like that, they can get to almost anybody.
