Update: I can’t say if this guy knows anything about marketing or not, but he does seem to offer better alternatives to MarketHealth – especially Azoogle which has a brilliant backend forAffiliate Marketers.
He posted a warning about AffDollars here: MarketHealth CPA Network Review – Scam Warning
Note, for the first time I intentionally removed a discussion from the WorkAtHomeTruth without receipt of a Cease & Desist (although I’ve only removed ONE discussion even then). Why? Because I believe I wrongly judged the person who had posted here initially making fun of WorkAtHomeTruth (the owner of AffDollars)and I was unwilling to let go of my belief despite evidence to the contrary and the fact that he apologized for his initial comment.
Again, I can’t say if his marketing training is any good, but I like the fact that he was wiling to call out a CPA network publicly and those are the kind of people we need more of.
I’ll be following his new training blog (hopefully he’ll use his real name on it as I think that’s imporant) and will review the substance as it progresses.
I’m leaving the following in tact for historical reasons.
While I don’t know anything about some of the JoeBucks product offerings, one thing that’s clear is that JoeBucks.com understands affiliates. If you’re setting up your own affiliate program, it’s a great example to follow.
JoeBucks seems to really understand what top affiliates need and want. Many of the tools they have in place for their affiliates are affiliate tools that I’m often stunned that other affiliate programsdon’t offer.
Again, I’m not in the health market so I cannot comment on the quality of the products, but for people building multiple sites like the ones in the Niche BlitzKrieg system the JoeBucks affiliate program could work – either up front or as a back-end offer.
This post is meant to point affiliate managers to a good model of what affiliates want and need in an affiliate program.
However, if you’re an affilaite and you want some information about the experience of other affiliates you might check the following forum threads:
So much for the approving everything that isn’t spam policy and so much for being a man and handling your business.. still waiting on that call.
Anyways.. you got 48 hours take take that shit down or edit it, then we can both forget this happened. If its not down in 48 I’m very eager to test just how much your private registration service really cares about protecting your info.. seems like your the one with something to hide since your the one registering private.. hm..
catch ya tomorrow buddy
@Chris: Chris,
I did take it down. Not sure what you’re talking about.
I also posted an explanation up at the top of this post saying that I handled this all wrong.
Btw, the first case I ever helped the FTC with was the result of one of the top spammers in the world sending a Cease & Desist, so I can tell you with absolutely certainty that you’re threat has no merit legally. However, it does have merit in the sense that i was premature in posting it – which is why I took it down. Basically I decided I was being an ass.
Ummm. Hiding? If you look up my site you’ll see my full name is blasted all of the site AND all over the web. Whois protection is to avoid bulk email/contact harvesters – which I’m sure you are well aware of.
My first name is in the SECOND PARAGRAPH of the home page of the site which ranks between #2 and #3 for “home business” in Google right now – so if I’m trying to hide I’m doing a crappy job of it. Not to mention this:
http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source=hp&q=site%3Aworkathometruth.com+%22paul+schlegel%22&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&fp=c401d881a5ff002f
It sounds now like you are trying to hang onto something that doesn’t exist. You actually WON your point here in my opinion.
It does sound like you make a lot of false assumptions, though. “Not calling” = “Not having balls”. I do sort of get that. There are times when I’d believe the same thing.
But it’s more about it not being a good use of my time – especially since I already removed everything and even put an apology and a link to your site at the TOP of this blog post – AND removed the other post AND put a direct link to your scam warning and recommended resources.
What is it that you’re trying to accomplish by getting me to call you?
I thought I was doing the right thing in this case by removing the other post and the discussion here, but it seems at this point you just want to vilify me no matter what – even after calling myself an Ass at the top of this post and saying I handled this all wrong.
Tell me what it is you want that’s more than that. I can’t figure out where you’re going with this any more.
If I get a good slot later in the week I’ll give you a call. Usually later in the evening is better for me. Seems like you’re up pretty late, too.
I just can’t figure out what it would accomplish at this point.
If you would prefer for me to republish all the comments here, let me know. I think that should be your call in this case. Even though I made an absolute statement that was true at the time I posted it about only deleting spam comments (with one exception) – I’ve learned that LIVING by absolute statements is a very immature thing to do, so if you want to vilify me by holding me to a statement I declared as absolute that’s really your choice at this point. At this point, I don’t think that would change my current opinion as to whether or not removing the discussion was wrong or right – although it’s possible that you could change my opinion on that. You’ve changed my opinion on quite a few other things.
Again, I think it should be YOUR decision as to whether or not you would like me to republish the discussion. I’m fine with it either way.
Glad its down.. thanks
Have a good one
No problem, Chris.
I learned a good lesson here.
Thanks for that.
Paul
