Google Cash Kit on Larry King? LOL!

Quick shot review of a Google Cash Kit promotion found on AmericaJobsDaily.com

What is a quick shot review? Quick shot reviews of promotions for products like Google Cash Kit from sites such as AmericaJobsDaily.com are designed to teach you how to analyze sales messages  more critically.

Google Cash Kit promotion from AmericaJobsDaily.com analysis:

I just stumbled across a Google Cash Kit promo site called AmericaJobsDaily that includes a page allegedly named “Steve Anderson” who includes the following ridiculous claims about Google Cash Kit on the site:

  • The page on AmericaJobsDaily claims that Google Cash Kit was seen on Larry King.
  • The page on AmericaJobsDaily claims that Google Cash Kit was seen on CBS news.
  • The page on AmericaJobsDaily claims that Google Cash Kit was seen on MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CNBC, and “TV”.

Even if Google Cash Kit was seen on Larry King (doubtful), the site doesn’t reference the context that it was seen in.

And typically if you see “As seen on” followed by a list of news sites it usually means that people bought ADVERTISING on those sites for the product – usually through the Google Adwords system.

Is that the case with Google Cash Kit? Possibly. It certainly seems more likely than those sites actually recommending GoogleCashKit – especially since Google themselves recently banned advertisers for promoting products similar to Google Cash Kit, sending memos such as the following:

“Subject: Your AdWords account: Account Suspension

Message:
It’s come to our attention that you have submitted ads that promote Google Money Tree or ads that promote a misrepresented affiliation with Google. Due to multiple complaints from our users and publishers, we’ve made the decision not to accept these ads.”

Now, the page on AmericaJobsDaily claims “you have to pay $2.95 for the kit”.  Clicking on one of the links on the site takes you over to a page called Fast Cash Using Google which explains all the way at the bottom of the page AFTER the submit button and BELOW THE FOLD of the page (on the second screen after scrolling) that there will be ADDITIONAL MONTHLY CHARGES AFTER 7 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE. Here’s PART of what it says:

By submitting this form I authorize Go-Web-Biz to immediately charge my credit card $1.97 for access to the Business Kit for Google. I hereby request that Go-Web-Biz activate my account and authorize them to advance funds as indicated. Monthly Service fees will commence 7 days from the date of this purchase, and will be billed monthly there after. After the 7 day trial you will be billed $79.90 monthly for the continued access to the Business Kit for Google.”

The terms are NOT mentioned in close proximity to the order submission form.

TRUSTe security seal is NOT clickable to a directory listing

The last thing to notice about the order page is that the TRUSTe seal is NOT clickable to a directory listing on the TRUSTe site, which is a requirement of the TRUSTE program. I also could NOT find any of the companies referenced on the ProfitCenterLearning site or the ProfitCenterLearning’s Terms of Service in the TRUSTe directory.

If you have experience with the Google Cash Kit feel free to leave your comments.

Please note that WorkAtHomeTruth is NOT RECOMMENDING the Google Cash Kit and have NOTHING to do with the Google Cash Kit.

I’ve been trying to learn about whether it’s a scam or not, does anyone have any information or leads? I mean it seems strange about the TRUSTe link, the “as seen on TV” claim, etc. So I’m not sure if it’s trustworthy or not. Thanks.
