Trying to find a p/t work-from-home typing or data processing job

Q: I am trying to find a p/t work-from-home typing or data processing job.  I am disabled (have looked at all kinds of disabled websites), so I just need light work to supplement my SS Disability.  It seems to be a lost cause.  I note that you list companies that you do NOT recommend, but can you list some reputable companies that might be hiring?  Thank you.

A: Do you mean you went through sites listed here:
http://workathometruth.com/disability.php

Including http://www.disaboom.com ?

Other pages to look at are:

Always follow the rules here:

Unfortunately, there’s no doubt that things are
significantly tougher now. I’ve noticed a few people
posting on my blog that they recently were laid off
by companies listed on this site do to the economy.

Trouble finding an acceptable work from home or business

Recent comment through feedback:
I seem to be having trouble finding an acceptable work from home or business. They all want money up front and my experience tells me not to fall for this.
I am not looking to get rich over night , but have you making thousands in no time give me a break.
I am not that gullable.
Answer:
That’s one of the reasons I listed (ugh – I had listed Jeremy Palmer’s free training here and almost immediately after I posted this he started charging $97). I have another free training site at the end.
If you didn’t read the information about the person
leading the training, I encourage you to do so.

It might not mean much to you unless you already know
how significant a company Commission Junction is
online.

Jeremy’s training requires a fee now, but you can still get great free training from Ed Dale (update: NO LONGER RECOMMENDED)

Disability and the visually impaired.

Feedback:

I am visually impaired and a lot of businesses send me information but when I tell them i have a computer with speech, they tell me it is impossible to work their sight.  Most people don’t know what they are talking about.  They have no idea what Jaws is.I feel this is discriminating, they don’t want visually impaired people working for them.

Reply:

I apologize for the delay. I’ve been looking for this email forever and
just couldn’t find it.

I have to admit that I wasn’t aware of the Jaws software.
I looked at the pricing and it was around $895 plus $120/year
for a maintenance contract.

Is there a way for people to get assistance with the purchase?
If you don’t know, I’ll look into that.
