The banned advertiser said:

"I was promoting a Bizop CPA Offer, for the past week which apparently is against Google's TOS, and sadly I didn't get a warning or anything, but rather just this email.

I'm absolutely devastated, since I've essentially been left jobless, had 2.5k US in my account (prepaid, although if worse comes to worst I am sure I'll be able to withdraw it), and I was spending $1,000 a day in advertising.

I've contacted Google so hopefully I'll be able to get my account restored, what's worse is they also suspended my friend's accounts who were linked to mine in MyClientCentre.

Anyone know if I'll be able to get my account back? Hopefully Google will be kind and forgive me (no doubt I've learnt my lesson), if not it looks like I'll be out looking for a job this week to pay the rent."

Umm, where'd he learn the letter of the law from Steve Martin? Remember Steve's routine about "How to be a millionaire and not pay any taxes?…"

From a site called GMoneyDreamMachine.com which claims that "In just a few minutes per day, Google Money Machine will show you how to make $1000, $5000, or even $10000+ a month or More!"

From a site called ProfitCenterLearning.com which shows a logo from USAToday next to the following within quotation marks"

"Everything you'll need to make guaranteed fast cash on Google:

Your cost = $0. In just a few minutes per day, Google Biz Kit will show you how to earn $99 – $375 per day working from home!"

From a site called BrowseFreeTrials.com promoting a product called eMillionaire Google Money System

Quotation #4:

"washingtonpost.com interviews Andrew L.

"I get paid while mowing the lawn. I get paid while cleaning the garage. No matter what I'm doing, people keep clicking and I keep getting paid."

From a product called "Impact Wealth" promoted by a site called OpportunityKnaux.com

Quotation #5:

"I get paid while mowing the lawn. I get paid while cleaning the garage. No matter what I'm doing…I keep getting paid." – Andrew L.

From a product called "Hot Business Market Pro" – a.k.a. Google, Fast, Easy Cash which was the order page from a site called EasySpeedyMoney.com

Where did these quotations start?

It seems that they started with an article by a Washington Post Staff Writer named Yuki Noguchi who quoted Andrew Leyden, former House Commerce Committee counsel and founder of PodcastDirectory.com – a dot-com venture that failed.

Within that article Andrew Leyden is quoted as saying:

"I get paid while mowing the lawn. I get paid while cleaning the garage. I get paid driving my wife to her office, buying groceries, seeing a movie, playing video games, or just surfing the Internet. That's really the nice thing about AdSense: No matter what I'm doing, people keep clicking and I keep getting paid."

Any of that sound familiar?

Other interesting places Andrew's quotation has been found:

One site called MicrositeAdvisors.com apparently felt it was within copyright "fair use" guidelines to copy the entire Washington Post article and put it on their site – best of all they put it in the "testimonials" section!

Somehow, I doubt the Washington Post would agree that the use of their article (and photo) would constitute "fair use", although I suppose it's possible that they bought the photo from the Washington Post Photo store which shows the photographer as being Linda Davidson.

Apparently WorkHomeUnion.com had the same thought as the entire Washington Post article, including the picture, can be found on that site as well.

Good ol' "Cory" of CoryGetsCash.com really won my heart when he posted the following messages in that discussion:

"I made money off doin' it. It's not my fault your to stupid to figure out how to really make money like me. I get paid!!!!!" – Cory of CoryGetsCash

"Cory is paid!!! Don't hate me cause you ain't me." – Cory of CoryGetsCash

"Paul, you really are sad… You posted a link to google images FAIL!!! LOL i get paid you don't, end of story."

However, when I replied to Cory of CoryGetsCash.com with:

"Well, Cory, I posted a link to Google images, because most of the images on your site were likely stolen and I didn't want to perpetuate the offense.

Of course the Texas Attorney General filed charges against them now

And for 20/20 (I was tired and put DateLine originally), the Sydney Morning Herald, and NPR's MarketPlace to use me as a resource must make me pathetic.

Of course there are more enforcement actions to come, but unless your one of the more successful affiliates, they'll likely ignore you and you'll be fine.

In the meantime, you can sharpen your skills in trying to circumvent the law by boning up on the Federal Trade Commission's Policy Statement on Deception here.

The reason I can spend so much time at this site is because I've developed numerous automated systems and have 4 people working for me and several partnerships, including a company that got $500,000 in investment money recently – not a ton, but if you understand how real business and the nature of early round investing works it would make sense to you."

Cory of CoryGetsCash mysteriously disappeared from the discussion. Which got me to looking more closely at his site as well as some of the other sites hosted on the same I.P. address.

Now, I'm not sure if he's responsible for all the activity going on with the OTHER sites on the same I.P. address, but there are some REALLY interesting things going with them.

But let's start with CoryGetsCash.com first since he wants you to buy into his idea that you can "easily" make money "just posting links on Google".

Cory must have real self image problems since he's using photos of the famous rapper Curren$y on the CoryGetsCash.com blog.

Take a look at the following two pix (once again I cropped them to avoid perpetuate the offense of using potentially stolen photos):

We've also seen a new twist to the fake websites we posted in the comments of the discussion called BradsMoney – Where's that Government Check. Now it seems some of these fake websites with fake photos and fake stories are making quite dubious claims that the Google Pro Kit is recommended by Oprah and has appeared on CBS News.

After you read it you'll begin to realize how many checks you see promoting "Google Kit" type offers are fake and how many photos of those happy-go-lucky people are STOLEN. It's pretty stunning.

The other type of program that has been promoted aggressively through these sites are programs claiming that they can help you to get government grants.

Of particular interest is what's called the "Prenotification Negative Option Rule":

"The Federal Trade Commission enforces the Prenotification Negative Option Rule. The Rule requires companies to give you information about their plans, clearly and conspicuously, in any promotional materials that consumers can use to enroll. If the sales presentation for a plan is made orally, say on the phone, the terms and conditions still must be disclosed clearly and conspicuously during the presentation. For example, companies must tell you:

• whether there's a minimum purchase obligation;
• how and when you can cancel your membership;
• how many announcements and rejection forms you'll receive each year, and how often you'll receive them;
• how to reject merchandise;
• the deadline for returning the rejection form to avoid shipment of the merchandise; and
• whether billing charges include postage and handling."

• On the pages for the Google Success Center I was on the women in the pictures seemed to really enjoy laying around in piles of money. I'm not saying that it wouldn't be fun to lay around in money, but I doubt it would be all that comfortable physically.
