Victim of scam goes to jail

Q: My daughter got caught up in a scam.  They sent her a money gram told her to cash it and keep 10%.  She was arrested for trying to do so and is now in jail.  Is there anything I can do to help her.

A: There’s a well-known case like this you can read about here:

You really need to get an attorney involved. If you’re low-income, you should be able to find a public defender. For example In Arizona the list would be here:

Arizona Public Defenders

Good luck.

Invention development and marketing scams

Question:
What about scams for getting a developing and marketing inventions?

Answer:

It’s on the list to get up. You’ll actually find better expertise
than I can offer at the follow two places:

http://www.inventnet.org/scams.php
which also has a very helpful forum.

I believe David Pressman (author of Patent It Yourself) is
a member there.

American inventors association is here:
