I was sort of surprised to see the EasyFortune500Profits offer still around, although I wasn’t too suprised to see the number of complaints against Easy Fortune 500 Profits as I remember thinking a while back that I wasn’t too crazy about EasyFortune500Profits.com.
I’m going to see if I can see what I didn’t like about it by going through their order process.
The EasyFortune500Profits order process
OK. I let the countdown timer expire to see what would happen if I then pressed the refresh button on my browser. When I refreshed the browser I got the message “Time expired – Enroll Now!”
Ummm. What’s the point of having the countdown timer then?
The first page of EasyFortune500Profits.com also claims that the WashingtonPost.com interviewed someone named “Jared C.” but doesn’t give a full last name which is a bit odd if a major newspaper like the WashingtonPost interviewed him.
I searched for a few phrases on WashingtonPost.com to see if I could find the interview. I searched for the following:
- EarnFortune500Profits
- EarnFortune500Profits.com
- www.EarnFortune500Profits.com
- Earn Fortune 500 Profits
- “This opportunity is for real” (apparently that’s supposed to be from the interview).
- “I’m now making around 100k” (again, apparently that’s from the interview).
I tried searching for “Jared C.” and “Jared” too but I still couldn’t find the interview. I also did a few archive searches on the WashingtonPost. I’m not saying it’s not there, but I’m pretty good at finding those kinds of things and I was completely unable to locate it.
Finishing up page 1 of EasyFortune500Profits:
I filled out the form on page one that asked for:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Address
- City
- State
- Postal Code
- Country
- Phone
I Then I clicked the button that said “Send My Software” so I guess that’s it and my software is on the way…
OOPS. Nope. I have more information to enter on page 2, including my credit card and pay $1.96 to get my Free software. Also, I have to pay $1.96
Well, I guess it could be worse (that’s called “Foreshadowing” for those of you who skipped your English lit classes).
What’s that under the “Send My Software” submit button on page 2 of EasyFortune500Profits.com?
“Terms and Disclosures. By clicking “Ship My Free Kit”, I am ordering the EasyFortune500Profits CD and trial membership for $0.96 for Shipping and $1.00 for Handling/Insurance. I will also receive 10 day and 14 day bonus trials to Grant Success and Business Suite as my free gift for ordering the Success CD from this website. I have read and agree to the Privacy Policy / Terms and Conditions. Charges will appear on credit/debit statements as “EasyFortune500Profits”.
For questions, call 866-519-5308 any time. “
I better check to see how much I’ll be charged for Grant Success and Business Suite and figure out how I would cancel them…also I need to find out what the monthly fees for for the EasyFortune500Profits program itself are…
OK. Here’s what I found out:
- EasyFortune500Profitsprogam is $75/month after the 7 day trial period…which would be $900 per year…WOW! That’s at least 10 times more expensive than anything on our Top 10 Recommended Home Business list!
- I couldn’t find how much the charges for the Grant Success Site would be after the 2 week trial.
- I also couldn’t find how much the charges for the Business Suite would be after the 10 day trial.
I’m not going to get the Easy Fortune 500 Profits, but personally I would want to know what ALL the charges were going to be before entering my credit card number there.
An idea! I’ll call and ask since EasyFortune500Profits says I can call that 1-866-519-5308 number any time to ask questions.
Hmm. I called at 12:57 am Central Standard Time and got a recorded message telling me that ifI got the message between the hours of 9 to 5 Monday through Friday that it meant that all of their representatives were assisting other questions.
OK. I’m a little confused about why the told me I could call and ask questions anytime instead of giving me the office hours, although in all fairness to them they just said I could CALL and ask questions anytime…they never said anyone would be there to actually ANSWER the questions. And they did tell me to leave a message and someone would call me back, but that I could get faster service if I sent the question to support@impactwealthsolutions.com.
How do I cancel EasyFortune500Profits?
I like to know how to cancel monthly services or trial offers before I take them as I’ve just heard too many horror stories of people not being able to cancel recurring charges for things – the classic AOL story about the guy who recorded his attempt to cancel AOL jumps instantly to mind.
I did find out how to cancel EasyFortune500Profits in their Terms and Conditions here and it said this:
“If Subscriber wishes to cancel in any event, Subscriber must email support@easyfortune500profits.com notifying them of their request, at which time they will be provided an Internet link leading to a Cancellation Request Form that Subscriber agrees to print, complete and return by US Mail to the address listed on the cancellation form.”
That seems so weird to me. I mean I don’t understand why there are so many steps I have to go through to cancel. And why can’t they just link to the actual refund form from right there in the Terms and Conditions? When I canceled NetFlix and GameTap I was able to easily do it right on their site all by myself.
By the way there are also some timing requirements for canceling EasyFortune500Profits that I HIGHLY suggest you read in the Terms and Conditions if you’re still thinking of getting this.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find how to cancel the Grant Success site monthly fees or the Business Suite monthly fees. And I still don’t know exactly WHAT the monthly fees for those are and would prefer not to enter my credit card in their form until I DO have that information.
Anyhow…If someone can point me to that information it might be helpful to quite a few folks. I’m assuming they wouldn’t require someone to put their credit card information and press the submit button without giving that information in advance. I’d like to think that anyhow.
