I know nothing about selling gold, but I've seen Cash4Gold run through some of the affiliate networks like HydraNetwork quite a bit so I was interested in the results of the story.

Inside Edition had their own Gold expert examine some Gold that they would then go out and try to sell to various local gold buyers and also Cash4Gold.

Based on their results, Inside Edition suggested this:

1. Never take the first offer given to you for your gold. Every time they declined an offer, the gold buyer came back with a higher one. Sometimes they declined multiple times and got multiple higher offers.
2. Deal with a locally trusted gold buyer when you can.
