Firefox decides back button is annoying – a “nuisance”

I can’t help but notice that every time I upgrade Firefox recently that the back button disappears.

I guess I can understand that. It is kind of annoying to have to look at a handy giant green arrow and besides it’s much more fun to go out and search through Google again or maybe spend a few minutes rummaging through my browsing history to locate what site I was a half a second or so ago.

Thank you FireFox!

It’s sort of funny though because Google claims that having a site that forces a back button to become disabled leads to a poor user experience. I guess you showed them now that they’ve come out with their own browser Chrome. Take that, Google! We’re going to disable the back button willy-nilly!

Sometimes now when I load up Safari or Explorer I get confused. I just sit there staring at that back button and wondering what I’m supposed to do. Why is it pointing me to the left side of my computer? So ridiculous! I quickly disable them.

Anyhow, if you want to know how to enable the Firefox back button I’m not sure if I can be of much help as I’ve really started enjoying my backbuttonless lifestyle. But I think it has something to do with going to view and Toolbars and maybe customize or something like that. Anyhow I do see a couple wacky cartoonish arrows there.

Sort of makes me miss those days when Firefox thought it would be funny to randomly delete people’s bookmarks without warning.
