I’ve thought about this alot and I think I’ve finally nailed it. Why do smart people buy dumb bizopps and skip over the ones that are real that aren’t going to scam them out of their hard-earned cash?

I think the answer is a bit more subtle than I originally thought.

Initially I just figured it was smart people who were new to the internet. So maybe they really did just think that the internet was this magical place where money falls out of the sky.

After all – when you’re completely new to something what are you going to use as a base-line? It’s as if they believe that real-world rules don’t apply to the internet – and the thing is – in some ways that’s true – but not in some of the most important ways – especially having to do with building a solid sustainable business.
