I was just looking at a site called YourSecretShopper where on the sign up page it states “Online Mystery shopping is a fun way for you to make money while providing valuable feedback to companies”.

However, when they explain the activities that their “shoppers” will be doing they state:

You can can get paid to do things “such as

• Get paid to shop at online stores.
• Get paid to complete trial offers.
• Get paid to get free samples.
• Get paid to receive free quotes.”

All of these activities are activities that you would do with an “Incentivized Website Freebie” type company – NOT a mystery shopping company.
