So you call the number for this greeting card business opportunity and your quickly informed that several people have already inquired about doing the business in your area, so if you want to get the best possible locations, you'll need to act quickly. You're also advised that the business requires an initial investment of $25,000, but that after six months you should be able to get your investment back.

After more questions from you and more reassurances and high-pressure sales tactics by the greeting card business opportunity salesperson, you decide to put your money down. After all, the company guarantees to place your cards in high traffic locations like supermarkets, drugstores, and airports.

But after you've paid your money, the reality sets in:
