Sites To Avoid In 2014

There are thousands of sites you should avoid. I can’t track them all. However, I can help you avoid current ones that are being heavily promoted. Many of the sites that you should avoid are being  promoted by fake news sites and fake review sites.

Here is the current list of some of the worst offenders…

Fake News Sites I Track

There have been thousands of fake news sites promoting scams over the years. There aren’t as many as there used to be, but I still track the worst ones as you can see in the image below:

Problems With Work At Home Authority

Work At Home Authority uses a fake person named Michelle Withrow as its spokesperson. The name Michelle Withrow has been used to promote numerous questionable opportunities and outright scams.

Right now “Michelle Withrow” is promoting a site called Work At Home Institute. The problem is that Work At Home Institute is simply a different name for a site called Work At Home University – which uses “Michelle Withrow” as its spokesperson!

The other problem with the Work At Home Authority site is that it’s promoted numerous  programs that have generated a huge number of complaints. Including:

  • Auto Pilot Income System – Click here for my September 6, 2011 warning
  • Paid Surveys & More
  • Survey Revenue System
  • Work At Home Institute – Click here for August 3, 2013 warning
  • Work At Home University – Click here for my September 14, 2012 warning

Problems With Top3WorkAtHome.net

The main problem with Top3WorkAtHome.net is that it has promoted all kinds of programs that have generated huge amounts of complaints. Currently, the site is promoting:

  • Web Fortune Vault -  Click here for my June 13, 2013 warning
  • Business Success Pack – This promotes Vemma – Click here for Vemma Research
  • Web Fortune Master – Click here for for my June 11, 2013 warning

However, there are some other problems as well, including:

The Facebook Survey Attack it sometimes launches (seen in the image below):

Obviously fake claims such as the following:

Sarah Johnson Work At Home Scams

I’m not sure why, but the name “Sarah Johnson” has been used to promote numerous work at home scams. Some of the scams have included envelope stuffing, home assembly work, and fake data entry jobs.

But the latest scam I’ve seen the pseudonym Sarah Johnson associated with is Web Fortune Vault. Not only is Web Fortune Vault the latest scam, but probably one of the most financially dangerous scams around today.

If you have landed here, because you want to know about Web Fortune Vault, Web Fortune, or similar sites being promoted by “Sarah Johnson”, I strongly encourage you to read the following…

Those site are being promoted by a site called Top3WorkAtHome.net which makes this incredibly dubious claim:

Top3WorkAtHome.net Dubious Claim

So, apparently Sarah Johnson from Top 3 Work At Home spent two straight months of testing scam after scam and finally decides to recommend…one of the worst scams on the internet!?!

Another Notorious Work At Home Scam using the Sarah Johnson name…

Big Pay Jobs – BigPayJobs.com

This was a work at home data entry scam from 2006/2007 that claimed that you could make $1,000 per day doing “simple data entry work at home” (you can’t). The site is no defunct, but here’s a screenshot of what it used to look like:

Other Work At Home Scams Using The Sarah Johnson Name Have Included:

  • Envelope Stuffing
  • Home Assembly
  • Other sites very similar to Web Fortune Vault & Web Fortune Master

Web Profit Authority Research

Somebody posted about the Web Profit Authority in my warning about Web Fortune Master. Here’s what they said:

Web Profit Authority Comment

One thing that’s not clear to me about that comment is whether or not the Sara Robinson Web Profit Authority site is actually being promoted yet.

Web Profit Authority – Have You Seen It?

I’d like to know if any of you have seen the Web Profit Authority site being promoted. If so, can you let me know where you’ve seen it being promoted? You can either post the information in the comments or email me using the contact link at the top of this page.

If there is enough interest in this Web Profit Authority program, I’ll do additional research. Just let me know.
