The WorkAtHomeTruth newsletter is open to subscribers once again. We had temporarily stopped taking new subscribers from 1/7/2007 to 8/15/2007 in order to work on other projects & better serve the existing 10,000+ subscribers.

The following is what was put up after the newsletter temporarily stopped taking subscribers on 1/7/2007:

I highly recommend you read this entire brief page to get the most out of this site (especially the section called "My One Big Regret") and some other excellent sites I will refer you to.

Due to increasing responsibilities on other projects and other websites and the desire to help current subscribers better (The site currently has over 10,000 active subscribers), I have temporarily stopped taking subscribers at WorkAtHomeTruth.

What does "temporarily" mean? I really don't know at this point. It may be a month - it may be a year. There's just no real way of pinning that down right now.

However, I will continue to add both free and paid sources of income to the site.

And you can still contact me via the feedback forms listed on all of the pages at WorkAtHomeTruth. However, my replies may be more sporadic or delayed than they have been in the past.

Do You Really Buy Products For People?

Yes, from time to time I have purchased products for people or bought them access to membership sites to get more feedback from a traditional "users" perspective.

PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME TO BUY YOU A PRODUCT!

On the other hand, don't be surprised if I offer to do so.

Also, as much as I enjoyed doing it, I don't have time to help you get refunds on bad products any more.

I loved the feeling of helping people get thousands of dollars in refunds - but I've come to a point where I have to be more realistic about my time constraints.

Frankly, some of the sites listed there are more valuable for people looking for traditional work from home than my site.

However, you should always follow the rules at http://www.workathometruth.com/Rules.php no matter how legitimate the site is.

In a nutshell, my two areas of specialty really are determining what's legitimate and what's not and running internet businesses.

When it comes to specific, step-by-step actions for finding telecommuting jobs, there are much better resources such as the one mentioned in the following section called "My One Big Regret".

My One Big Regret...

One product I regret that didn't recommend "hard" enough at WorkAtHomeTruth is Sylvie Charrier's book InYourPJs.

You see, people who are new to telecommuting (working at home) seem to resent it if you suggest that they buy a book, no matter how appropriate that book is to their situation.

I eventually realized that most of them had twisted the Mantra "Never Pay For a Job" into "Never Pay for Anything - Even if It Could Help You Find a Job" (by the way, Sylvie's book is one that many top telecommuting experts recommend...ah well).

The funny thing is that since 1999, Sylvie Charrier, the author of InYourPJs has been preaching "NEVER PAY FOR A JOB" to everyone who would listen...in other words, people are blindly repeating her mantra without really understanding what she meant!

I know it may sound a bit harsh, but I don't see that as my problem anymore - I'm not in the business of changing people's minds - nor do I want to be.

However, that being said, I will be here to help if I can and when and if I have the time.

And I will continue to put up free information at the site, including some helpful tools I'll be bringing on board.
