While freelancers enjoy the benefits of independence, the downside is they're responsible for paying their own benefits and taxes. Not all freelancers work from home, but a large number of them do.

Most people think of freelancers doing jobs such as writing, photography, art, or other creative jobs. But today, virtually anyone with a computer and even the slowest connection to the internet is ready to cash in and enjoy the freedom of a freelancer.

Work at home business opportunities have most or all of the following qualities:

d. Money earned from commissions, product sales, or return on investments.

Whether it's fair or not, the largest and most popular work at home programs are almost always a scam.

Day after day, these scammers are getting smarter and more sophisticated. Some of them even find legal loopholes that make their scams technically legal.

The bad news is work at home scams force most people to give up the idea of working from home. After getting scammed and disappointed time after time, many just assume all work at home opportunities are scams...
