Underground Cash Secret – a baffling question

56

We got this baffling question about Underground Cash Secret – especially considering that the UndergroundCashSecret is on our NOT RECOMMENDED list…

Here's the question about UCS that was sent:

Q: I just have a couple of questions on UCS.  I signed up for it but it really does seem like a scam.  My "mentor" called me and just wants more money for better programs.  I signed up for the better program and was only given a choice of 5 programs which 1000's of others have already signed up for.  Then you are just advertising the same programs that everyone else is advertising.  I would appreciate your input on this program since you said that you use it.

A: Huh? We have UCS on our not recommended list – assuming your talking about Underground Cash System.

This may be the most baffling question I've ever received.

Paul

By the way, I'm not saying there aren't "underground cash secrets" – there sort of are – after all a cash secret is just something people are using that hasn't made it to the general public yet. And don't believe the myth that if it's available or sold publicly that it must be a scam.

While that's often true, in many cases it's not. For example, sometimes there are temporary traffic-generation "secrets" that can apply to hundreds of thousands of markets and niche markets, so there's no reasons for the creators NOT to share it. That's why many real markets don't care if they share their "secrets". That and the fact that most people are to lazy to take action anyhow.

But people don't need "secrets" anyhow to succeed online.

I certainly wouldn't call the products in our top ten recommended home businesses list "secret". They are just solid, practical systems that work. And they are written in such a way that they are easy to understand.

Anyhow, here's an afterthought: Maybe they got confused because we aren't listing every possible incarnation of this program. We have quite a few of them up, but apparently they've just added more. Although it's still on our NOT RECOMMENDED list so it doesn't explain the baffling statement "you say you're using this program" which isn't even true.

Here are all the versions of the program – some of them which we still need to get on our lists:

For what it's worth, I can pretty guarantee that Michael Vincent and Undergroud Cash Secrets is a scam. How do you ask? How about the fact that the picture on the website is me. Not Michael Vincent. My photographer friend submitted my photo to a stock photography website. Apparently, I fit the "image" for Underground Cash Secrets. If you don't believe, visit my blog to see "me" Jeff Rose, not Michael Vincent.

Does anybody know the login page for UCS?I wanna at least take a part of my 49.99 i invested.I backed out on the first page after a purchase because it said if i continue i would lose out on the 69.99 upgrade.Well…i see it turned out to be my second stupid thing to do after the purchase,,,I had no login (username/password)which probably is the same as everybody elses.well i had to contact them about this and they said they will reserve a 69.99$ package for me and forgot to give me my username/passwoed until i asked again.NOW,i can't even find a login page to get some of my moneys worth out of this scam.-I probably already have this information from all the other scams i bought into..o well,,thanks for letting me know and i will do more research in these online money making programs (IF) i can afford it…lol..glad i didn't lose as much as some people.Too bad these thing are aloud to run on the internet,,now we know how Michael Vincent,if thats his real name, can buy a ferrari and rolls royce.-oh one more thing, nice pic Jeff Rose..lol

Thank you for uncovering this scam. I thought it was kind of fishy because if you go to the webpage http://www.ucsworkathome.com and then decide to leave to search something there is a pop up, a special half off discount offer of paying $17 instead of $49.

well people ,
don't feel like the lone ranger . I just purchased this damn program also . But I only payed 17.00 dollars . However I better check my account too see if they did still take the full amount . You know I'm really freaking tired of all these damn scams that take advantage of us , there has to be a way that we can fight back and stick it up their asses, and demand our money back . i'm sure that all of us have thrown a lot of good hard earned money away on these bullshit scams that do nothing but piss you off .
then you sit there wondering what the hell to do next , shit you have a better change spending your money at the casino on slot machines . a least there it pays off a little before you dicide to put your money back in and loose it all. the moral here is : if its to good to be true , then it probably is to good to be true. Well my dear friend don't be too hard on your selves . Be happy that they haven't got all of your money Right!!!!!

So Michael Vincent is a scam! I suppose I am not surprised as there seems to be no control over this type of criminality.
I have just visited their site and the final offer they made me was down from $49.99 to $17.00 and then down to just $7.00!!!
I did not take up this offer but visited your site.

Thanks.

Is this really a scam? I guess if it is I have lost my money. There is place on the web pag to get a refund and I've tried several times but they keep sending me an e-mail telling me to send my recipt number and the amount I paid etc. and to give them 3 to 4 business days. I have tried this for almost a month now and I still haven't got my refund. Does anyone know where I can go to file a complaint about them.
Thanks

Please, if anyone knows the connection or the answer. I too got snookered in to buying at the $17.00 and then $7.00 upgrade prices (2 transactions – total $24.00). Never received my email confirmations with the login info and the toll free customer service number (what a suprise!)! But here's the question…who is Auction Profits and/or Thrive Learning Institute. They called my home this eve…saying they got my name from Underground Cash Secrets..but have no affiliation with them?

AP and Thrive offer to build you an entire ebay based business and then your own website with already established wholesalers. They offer extensive one on one coaching/mentoring, ebay and website exposure and SEO. They also claim they will gaurantee a full refund of your investment (investments start at $5000.00) if you do not double your investment within 1 year. Who are these guys?

The one who called told me they are in Utah?

Donna
4:42 am #

To clear things up a little…the $17.00 and $7.00 that I paid was to UCS. Then within 48 hours I got the call from the guy at Auction Profits/Thrive Learning Institute!

Thanks

I can't believe anyone signed up, all the sight did was explain how a super rich guy lives. I think I made it to the part about the daily menu from his chef. In 2 years this fictional teacher had a house with a guard, indoor and outdoor pool(complete with waterfall). He also had a ferrari and brand new Rolls-Royce yet this guys kid plays ball with Michael Vincent child. They made it sound like this guy made more cash than Warren Buffet yet told you very little about the program. I scrolled down to see how much this garbage was selling for, $49.99 and you got a mountain of cd's. It seemed like a library of knowledge that would take decades to develop, yet this guy works one hour and day and claims to do virtually nothing. Then reading that it isn't even his picture on the site I wasn't at all suprised. About the only thing that seemed valid was the money back guarantee but why pay for a bunch of lies and then hope to get your money back.

I was also blindsided into thinking that this was a legitimate way to make money, however, after reading all the comments I am now convinced that this is a scam. I did get a refund though by calling the number on my credit card statement attached to the transaction. Just a thought for those of you who think you have lost money.

Does anyone have a phone number to contact Underground Cash Secrets? I fell for the scam & purchased it $49.99 & then upgraded $69.99. I printed my pages off & there is no phone number to contact them like they stated prior to signing up. I did receive a call from a "mentor" & she told me I would receive another call with in 5-7 days letting me know who my file would be assigned to working with me for 6 months. No other calls have been received. I emailed them to see if they would contact me & about getting my money back.

The Bureau has received a pattern of complaints concerning the company's failure to refund consumers' money when the product/service sold was not as advertised on the company's website.

Based on information from the firm's website, it appears that 'Undergroundcashsecrets.com' offers a 'free' website and eBooks ('tools') to work from home through online affiliations. Consumers do not receive specific information on how to take advantage of this opportunity until an initial fee of $49.99 is paid. Once this fee is paid, consumers are asked to pay additional fees to upgrade them to a better program. The free website is suppose to sell other companies products and services and they pay the consumer a commission for each sale that is send to them.

The website is registered to Mark Jenney at 3867 W Market Street, Suite 256, Akron, OH 44333, which belongs to a UPS Store.

Another affiliated website under NSA Technologies, LLC is MakeMoneyTakingSurveys.org. Consumers can sign up for membership by paying $39.95 and earn money by taking part in surveys from national companies. The membership sells with a 100% money back guarantee. Consumers claim that they did not earn any of the money as promised on the website and wanted their money refunded.

Thrive Learning is another Internet Scam out of Utah. It was started by two brothers who were kicked out of Tafiti/Media Learner for embezzling and skimming.

Thrive doesn't build your website – they give you 4 hours of coaching and a library of videos which include instructions on how to use their site builder.

Thrive Learning training is used for anything from eBay auctions to real estate and even Internet Secrets. They all funnel into their skimpy training lineup.

However, you can't get a refund from them – you have to get your money back from whoever sold you the package. File a report with the Utah Division of Consumer Protection (http://www.consumerprotection.utah.gov/complaints/index.html) and be persistent. It can take months.

The reason you are constantly getting called by different companies is that when you signed up for something online (usually with its own hidden charges), they then contract with the sales floors (call centers) to sell you over and over and over. Best way out of this is to simply start saying "No." and hanging up on every single telemarketer call. This cuts about 95% of them out.

I was just checking my email and came across this scam yall say. Im days away from having a baby and am on maternity leave. My husband will be the only one working and I was thinking this will be away to make income to help my husband with bills. Well I guess Im one dumb*** that gave in my creditcard number to throw away $17. No wonder my husband dont like me surfing the internet. I always fall for some dumb crap. I guess my Question is where or who can I call to get a refund?????

Was just reading all of the info posted here, and I want to state how I came across this company. I was on a website that explained how people get scammed and a great long convincing story on how this person tried and reviewed different work at home programs and of course, Underground Cash Secrets was one of the trustworthy and legitimate businesses. I started clicking on the top 10, and linking to the contact us page because I always want to see an actual telephone number with maybe hours and preferably an 800#. What I found was very interesting, that more than one shared the same mailing address and no contact phone number. I went ahead and opened a new window and pulled up the Better Business Bureau webpage and started typing in the different business names. As you might guess, more than one of the business names came up in one review of the company, and as the user above "double j" pointed out in May in black and white, the exact information you will find on the bbb website (except now, there are a few more complaints filed, and quite a few more different names the scams are titled all affiliated with the same mailing address). Guess what folks, the bbb website points out that the business actually registered to the contact mailing address is a UPS store, and they do not know the actual mailing address for all of the business listed in the review. Thank you Paul for starting a website like this that can hopefully educate folks before they spend their last of their savings in scams that don't exist.

Opportunities which sound too good to be true are exactly that. I listened to the nice banter for a while and figured I's search on undergroundcashmethod.com. I found this site and it showed me exactly what I expected — the opportunity for making lots of money is limited to the owner of the site. I am sorry many of your were cheated but your stories saved at least one person from getting ripped off — ME!

Hello Paul, Why you all didn,t send or credit my account back. One of your employer called me , he explained how much it would cost me beside the $49,95 to make money I told him you all didn,t mention that on the recorder you said I could start at this very moment! I registered right then, then he called me & told me I needed more money! He said you got to spend money to make money, I asked him to send or credit my account back, he said to be looking for my payment! Never got it, I guess you all scammed me! Tell something, what,s up! Thank you!

Please check your files, Just send me my money back! Thank you! Is this a scam? I didn,t get anything at all, just send my money back or credit my account, that,s all I,m asking!

You all ought to be ashamed scamming people! No heart at all!
