@<a href="#comment-15052">Barry Mack</a>: Thanks, Barry. People definitely do NOT read carefully online.

The other point people seem to keep missing is that a totally DIFFERENT company - not related to Joel Comm's company at all - put out a different offer using the same name.

Joel Comm's company - InfoMedia's company went down to a B- rating at the BBB, but quickly got it back up to an A+ rating. You can see the current report here:
<a href="http://www.bbb.org/northern-colorado/business-reviews/online-salesmen/infomedia-in-loveland-co-46013275" target='new'>BBB report on InfoMedia</a>

In fact, Joel himself posted a good article here:
<a href="http://www.joelcomm.com/the_truth_about_internet_marke_1.html">The Truth About Internet Marketing</a> - although someone at that blog called Joel's post "bland" compared to Ryan Healy's <a href="http://www.ryanhealy.com/internet-marketing-life-support/">Internet Marketing On Life Support"</a> post.

The only thing I found strange about all of this though is the fact that the same thing had happened not too long ago with one of Joel Comm's offers as discussed here:
<a href="http://www.michelfortin.com/the-real-sinister-side-of-forced-continuity/">The real sinister side of forced continuity<?a>

@Paul...
it seems so many here don't "READ" enuff before commenting ... or it would be obvious just about every method of cancelling has been given over n over. Also.. they would recognize.. u have BEEN impartial n objective in yer "aid" to resolve..or help all in any issue they had.. while keeping an open mind till facts come to a head.. to determine yer personal opinions. i PERSONALLY feel u have been of great help..and yer site is informative. Thanks Paul

P.S. My personal opinion is.... Joel is a slick marketer, and smart guy.. who crossed the line of scruples for the almighty buck.. his integrity is more than tarnished.. what a shame such a brilliant mind can stoop to such low levels to make even MORE than he has with so many other REAL honest ventures he is capable of.. and has done.

@<a href="#comment-6961">Paul (Founder, WorkAtHomeTruth)</a>:
Dear Paul
As a full time employee and half time student, I thought that maybe it would not be worthwill to pursue and decided not to contact Joel Comm's customer service department.
Its obviously been awhile; I remember signing up for the Joel Comm's Internet Payday and never did read the extended fine print under terms and conditions. My fault. I unexpectedly found the charges on my credit card and then called Joel's Comm customer representative to cancel my subscription.
I lead, like most other 'non-astude' to believe this was only a dollar. I have learned from this and will always read the fine print. However the first three weeks or so, if I remember correctly, was supposed to be for one dollar. Half of my links and lessons where either unavailable at the time or just did not work. So, I went back to the original internet add/webpage that I found the Internet Payday offer for One Dollar, on this page was what appeared to be a hyperlink to the BBB. I clicked on this link just to let the BBB know it was slighly misleading and probably designed to be like that initially and the link did not work either.

Hey tek

You haven't lied at all. And i would also like to say that with so many people posting ads to make money at home. Even if google payday was legit there still would be no guarantees. The problem people would run into is supply or web advertisers (us online workers) would outpace demand (clickers as). I'm sure the online public would eventually get advertisement fatigue, just as television viewers sometimes get commercial fatigue. What brought me to this discussion sight is the fact that a supposed $2.59 home work kit fee turned into a .99 cent fee which would balloon to a $59 dollar fee if you don't cancel after a 7 day trial period. Also you are automatically signed up to a fast grant program after 14 days. I did not apply for at home work to be offered a grant. What all of these gimmicks/scams have in common is that you pay money to see if you can make money. Like the saying goes if it sounds to good to be true then it is to good to be true. What's truly maddening is when nationally recognized companies like Google get in on the Money Seduction business.

Intrenet payday is a scam. Regardless of the pay $1.00 for the "disk" you can NEVER get through to them on the phone. That is not a business that is however a scam.

When I looked into this, it took all of 15 minutes to know that it wasn't for me.

I then clicked on the appropriate links on their site to unsubscribe, answered all of the questions and thought I was done with it. I even got the email confirming that my account was cancelled (which I unfortunately deleted).

The following weekend, I got a reminder from them that the next "lesson" was ready for me. I went through the unsubscribe from that email and tried to log back into their website, only to be told that I don't have an account.

That was 4 months ago and I've been charged $78 every month since, for an account that I cancelled, and unsubscribed to.

I found another link for their cancellation page through google search and got a new cancellation confirmation number. The next payment is due in 5 days so we'll see if they cancelled my subscription this time or not. If not, I'm going to cancel my credit card so they can't charge me anymore.

Just for the record, you can sign up for Googles' adsense for free through google. You do NOT need to pay anyone $78 per month for this priviledge. Yahoo has a similar option, also free.

Roz, I'm not giving anyone a seal of approval.

I was trying to help you by giving you the correct information as you are on a page about a totally different company.

I'm not saying that I approve of either one.

You might want to take a look at this HUGE list of similar scams I've warned people about:

http://www.workathometruth.com/blog/2009/09/03/white-knight-seo-rides-in-on-a-broken-horses/

There are MANY of them that SOUND the same.

I am trying to HELP you by making sure you are contacting the right company.

However, apparently you don't want help.

Good luck.
