Real-Wah-Jobs.com – recommended

I noticed Real-Wah-Jobs.com when I was checking out WorkAtHomeSpace and I’m glad I did. Real-Wah-Jobs is an amazing site for networking with other telecommuting, finding telecommuting job leads and all kinds of other topics related to working at home.

The forum is especially active with genuine dialogue which is usually a great sign for a site like this.

I love the fact that Real-Wah-Jobs is extremely well organized and seems especially adept at keeping up with the flow of what must be an enormous amount of information. The only glitch is for some reason Real-Wah-Jobs doesn’t make it obvious how to get back to the home page (you have to click on the big “Real Work at Home Jobs” letters at the top of the page)

WorkAtHomeSpace list plenty of legitimate work at home job leads. As usually the best source of telecommuting job leads is the forum as the job leads are posted on a regular basis.

A good thing to pay attention to when visiting all the recommended home job sites are how the job descriptions are written up. This can be helpful when coming up with search terms to search on when you use the job boards, job search engines, Craigslist, etc. in order to find legitimate telecommuting work.

You want to identify parts of the job description that are specifically related to telecommuting – i.e. phrases like “must have quiet area in the home” or “must have stable, high-speed internet connection”, etc. Ideally you should keep a list of such phrases and start to guage how effective the searches are in bringing up relevant results.

There’s a lot of finesse and subtlety at the TelecommutingDiva site that can only come from a person with extensive experience in telecommuting work. This is not your typical “here’s how to find a telecommuting job” site. This is a site that will help you get a real grounding in the day to day realities of telecommuting.

While there is a section on TelecommutingJobs here, the real gold is in the postings that the owner of TelecommutingDiva – Valencia Hiquera – makes about her own telecommuting decisions and experiences.
