BBB Paul Birdsall review

The name Paul Birdsall seems to be popping up a lot these days, so I figured he was fairly new to the scene. According to the following BBB report on Paul Birdsall that’s not necessarily true:

“This individual has advertised under various names and mail-drop addresses in the Winnipeg area since early 1999, always requesting an up-front fee for information on making money from your own home.

Some of these “Work-At-Home” schemes are:

But most noteworthy is the statement from the BBB website:

“TRADITIONALLY, THERE HAVE BEEN TWO TYPES OF WORK AT HOME SCHEMES – STUFFING ENVELOPES AND ASSEMBLING PRODUCTS. MOST RECENTLY, THERE HAS BEEN A PROLIFERATION OF WORK AT HOME COMPANIES ADVERTISING FOR UNCLAIMED BANK ACCOUNTS TRACERS, WORKSHEET PROCESSORS, GROCERY COUPON PROCESSORS AND LABEL ADDRESSORS. THERE ALSO EXIST DIRECTORIES WHERE THE CONSUMER MAY PURCHASE A LIST OF COMPANIES OFFERING SUCH SCHEMES. ALL WORK AT HOME SCHEMES HAVE ONE THING IN COMMON – THEY ALL REQUIRE AN UP FRONT FEE.”

Editors note: While it’s true that you should never “pay for a job” there are in fact a few legitimate databases of available telecommuting positions. What you are paying for in those cases is for the company to locate possible telecommuting positions and weed out the scams.
