Home Income Surge review of red flags

This is a Home Income Surge review of red flags. If anyone has experience with this company let me know. The sales process for Home Income Surge doesn’t have as many red flags as most I’ve seen, but I’m always concerned when I see a company using security seals that aren’t clickable (see the rest of this Home Income Surge review to find out why).

The following is a Home Income surge video review of red flags. I also have highlights beneath the video:

Before I go over the red flags within the Home Income Surge sales process, I do want to commend them for making the billing information MUCH easier to find in this sales process than I’ve seen in the past.

At least within the page I reviewed they did so – I know there are other versions of the sales page, so if anyone has a different opinion about this let me know.  On the sales process reviewed in the video they billing information is clearly disclosed by Home Income Surge as follows:

*To access your website, a nominal charge of $1.95 USD is needed for us to know that you are a real person. Upon payment, you’ll receive instant access to your very own website for a 5-day trial-enrollment. After your trial-enrollment expires, in order to keep your website active and available on the internet, you agree that your card will be charged $29.95 per month for hosting and maintenance. There are no hidden fees and no long-term contracts. You may cancel anytime simply by calling our office toll-free at (888) 230-7531.

Red Flags At Home Income Surge

Home Income Surge red flag #1) Potential False Association with news organizations

HomeIncomeSurge.com uses the following logos on their page, but provide absolutely no explanation as to why those logos are there:

  • CNN
  • People
  • Time

If there’s no real association between CNN, People, & Time this could be a case of what MarkMonitor (a service for tracking brand abuse) would deem to be false association).

HomeIncomeSurge Red Flag #2) Disclosure Of Non-Association With Brands

At the very bottom fo the page – well after the actual first optin form – the Home Income Surge site has the following disclaimer:

“Accelerated Cash Income System is not associated with CNN, People and TIME”

I would highly doubt that anyone will ever see that.

Home Income Surge Red Flag #3) Non-Clickable Security Seals

The HomeIncomeSurge.com site uses the following non-clickable security seals:

  • Verisign
  • McAfee Secure

If you cannot click a security seal to verify them through the appropriate 3rd-party database, then those trust seals are meaningless when it comes to the site they are on.

What concerns me the most is the non-clickable security seals. Although the order page is on an https:// url I have to question what type of company would engage in improper seal usage.

Internet Profit Success System Sales Page Review

The claims at the Internet Profit Success System website are highly questionable (to put it politely):

Here’s what the InternetProfitSuccessSystem tells you will happen with their “system”:

  1. Get instant access to Home Income Software
  2. Use simple typing skills to fill out forms online
  3. Watch the cash start rolling in

I filled out the form to see if “I qualified” – although I was a bit leary of doing so because the site uses non-clickable Truste and Verisign seals which completely violates those companies’ terms of service.

I also checked InternetProfitSuccessSystem.com at Verisign’s “Try before you buy” site and got the following message:

Internet Profit Success System Fails Verisign Check

Internet Profit Success System Fails Verisign Check

The terms of the offer seem fairly conspicuous as they are directly next to the order button and state:

“This order includes all of the items above for a $2.97 trial. If you enjoy the trial and want to continue on your path to making real money, you will be billed a one-time fee of $139.95. You may cancel anytime by calling: (877) 863-3088.”

However, the terms of service page includes an additional $4.95/month fee that isn’t mentioned on the order page – and there is not even so much as a checkbox next to a confirmation statement such as “I agree to the terms of service”.

Internet Cash Machine is an online web development tool that makes it easy for you to jump start your online home based business. It effortlessly allows you to activate customizable websites stocked with products in just minutes. When you submit your order, you agree to pay the shipping and handling fee of $2.97 for your Road Map to Success; please allow up to two weeks for delivery. After your 3-day trial period, you will be charged a ONE TIME activation fee of $139.95 that will not be billed again for access to all of the features above. Thereafter, a $4.95 fee will serve as a monthly website hosting and maintenance fee until cancelled.”

Notice that the trial period is only 3-days – another important piece of information that is NOT mentioned on the actual order page.

I also noticed something interesting about the legal forum mentioned in the terms where it states:

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any legal action arising out of this Agreement shall be litigated and enforced under the laws of the United Kingdom. In addition, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom, and that any legal action pursued by you shall be within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom in the United Kingdom.”

I couldn’t find the actual U.K. address for the company behind internetprofitsuccesssystem.com – but I didn’t locate a completely different terms of service on the internetprofitsuccesssystem.com domain that had the following information:

My Online Cash Secrets

Athinodorou 3,
Dasoupoli, Strovolos,
P.C. 2025 Nicosia, Cyprus”

A couple other interesting observations. The following three domains share the same name servers with only a total of 6 domains according to RobTex:

  • InternetRichesGuru.com
  • MyOnlineCashSecrets.com
  • TheInternetProfitHouse.com

You can see the details here in the image below:

Robtex - domains showing nameservers

There are 3 other domains listed there that seem to be completely unrelated to the offers discussed here.

By the way, in case you’re wondering…I qualified for instant access to Internet Profit Success system. Big surprise there. ;-)
