Bizop Seminar Scams

June 24, 2015 By Paul (Founder, WorkAtHomeTruth) Leave a Comment

Business Opportunity Seminar Scams Continue to This Day

Even with the advent and improvement of the Internet, there still seems to be a never ending parade of get rich quick business opportunity seminar scams. You know the type – you see the TV commercial claiming that they’re are limited seats and that you’ll get some sort of special free gift just for attending.

The promoters of these seminars also often claim that you’ll learn enough during the seminar to go out and get started making money on your own. The whole idea is to get a crowd of people into a room and then try to upsell them into other courses, training, or services that cost thousands of dollars. And once a person pays thousands of dollars, they’ll often try to be sold into more training, courses, and services that cost tens of thousands of dollars…before they make any money at all.

While it’s true that most businesses require an investment of time and at least a little bit of money, there’s no reason to shell out thousands of dollars to business opportunity seminar hucksters before you’ve made a dime.

Sadly, many of these hucksters are presented on national telivisions and news shows as reputable sources of business wisdom. What you may not know, is often the hucksters pay to be on the show and the fact that they paid is never disclosed.

The Mad Frenzy to the Back of the Room…or the Front

At a typical bizop seminar, a special price will be offered for “people in attendance only.” There will also be a claim of limited spots available. This is when a person attending one of these seminars for the first time will experience the mad dash to the front or back of the room to try to claim one of these “limited spots.” Sometimes, seminar hucksters will even plant people to start the frenzy in order to build up sales and momentum.

Never make a decision to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on the spot without giving that decision careful thought. If you’re not an expert in the field of the opportunity and you haven’t brought an expert with you to evaluate the opportunity, I would suggest you stay away from it until you’ve had a chance to consult with an expert. Most people are glad that they didn’t make a rash decision to purchase during the crazy, often artificial, energy of the seminar.

Do the Salespeople Get Angry When They Are Asked Questions?

There’s been more than one occasion when a famous seminar promoter was caught on camera yelling at people who asked perfectly reasonable questions about the business opportunity being presented. If you can’t get serious questions about any specific business opportunities you are investigating that’s obviously not a good sign. Real business people will be ready, willing , and able to provide details about a specific opportunity along with their experience with it.+

Josh McKeney Josh WatchDog Binary Options Review Scam

May 17, 2015 By Paul (Founder, WorkAtHomeTruth) 2 Comments

Is JoshWatchDog.com Legitimate or a Scam?

Josh WatchDog is  a Fake Review Site

If you’ve come across the Josh McKeney binary options review site you might be lead to believe that Binary Boom is a real way to make money. Before you fall into this trap, take a look at the following video…

The fictitious “Josh McKeny” is obviously just a paid actor reading from a script. Does he know that Binary Boom is a scam? That’s something only this actor can know. But if he actually believed what he says in the video, wouldn’t he make more money actually trading with the Binary Boom system than he would pretending to be a binary options expert?

Josh WatchDog is an Affiliate Site

I first came across the Josh Watch Dog site when I was searching for more information about Binary Boom. I found Josh the fake binary watchdog in this email:

Is Binary Boom Scamming It’s Affiliates?

Clearly, many of the Binary Boom affiliates know that Josh Mkeny isn’t a real binary options reviewer. However, there may actually be affiliates who believe he is because of the way his site is presented in the BinaryBoom affiliate area…

This Thomas Andrews CopyTradeProfit review shows why you’ll lose money with this fraud

This binary options scam follows the typical binary options scam formula but actually does a terrible job at running its scam. Here’s why. If you take a look at this screenshot I took on May 8th, 2015 at 10:39 PM you’ll see that the CopyTradeProfit.com site claims that the total amount of money earned from the system in 2015 was $58,940,336:

I took the following screenshot just one minute later:

Copy Trade Profit System’s Fake Testimonials

As usual, the testimonials used by the Copy Trade Profit program are fake. Here’s the one of Bradley Jener:

…who is actually this guy who’s photo has been stolen and is being used without his permission:

IMDB Tim Harrold

Again, 99.9% of these binary options scams follow the same formula as outlined here.
